Let me give you some advice when making a follower like this. You don't need to copy n paste the folder of one mod to your own since it doesn't change anything because the folder paths are exactly the same. All it does is overwrite the original mod with the same exact files. You also don't need to add all those other SG hairs in CK since they serve no purpose to the player or the follower. If you made a completely custom follower that will utilize other hairstyles via follower dialogue, then you can make SG hairs a required mod, or include the hairstyles you want into a custom folder path. I mention custom folder path below when it comes to making a standalone follower. However, because this is not the case, this does not apply for this follower mod.
There's two ways to make a follower.
A follower dependent on another/other mods. i.e. SGHairs and Maevan2 Brows. or...
A standalone follower, which does not require another mod installed and enabled to make this follower mod to work. i.e. no dependencies...
if standalone is out of your expertise, then the better choice would be for you to open CK and enable your follower mod, enable maevan2 brows and SG Hairs and then click ok. Let CK load the mod files and once done click save. Now when someone installs your mod, it requires both SG Hairs and Maevan2 Brows for it to work.
If you would've taken the standalone route, all you have to do is take the particular meshes and textures required to give Vanya that appearance and place them in their respected meshes and textures folder path (custom folder path). The best choice would've been...
meshes/actors/character/Vanya/Hair/hairpg0020 (for Head Parts in CK)
meshes/actors/character/Vanya/Hair/hairpg0020.tri (for Head Parts in CK)
textures/actors/character/Vanya/Hair/hairpg0020.dds (for Texture Set in CK)
textures/actors/character/Vanya/Hair/hairpg002_n.dds (for Texture Set in CK)
textures/actors/character/Vanya/Eyebrows/femalebrow_01 (for Texture Set in CK)
textures/actors/character/Vanya/Eyebrows/femalebrow_n (for Texture Set in CK)
And when you are done creating those folder paths for your follower and included all the the meshes and textures required for her appearance, you know the rest from there. Obviously if you are ever going to take someone's assets (meshes, textures, sounds, etc.) it's always best to get permission. But if you do the non standalone way, you don't need permissions obviously. I hope this helps in the future.
I Could not get them to work together. "4 conflicting files they both use". I tried to overwrite both ways. No joy. Vanya hair is purple. I am not giving up Jaz. I will continue to track Vanya. Thanks amigo! Stay safe!
Vanya with purple hair and this mod overwrites 4 files from Jaz. Mod Organizer says that are 00hairline02.tri, 00hairline02.nif, 00hairline01.tri and 00hairline01.nif. The folder is /Meshes/SGHairs.
She clashes with Jaz When Installing, hairline is one issue with Jaz.It Ask's to Overwrite Jaz File or Files. You should put her hair in her own folder in meshes\actors\character\Vanya\hair. do the same with the textures..textures\actors\character\Vanya\hair.
I have fixed the path of the hair folder, so that it does not generate problems with other MODs, in the same way it is on the opposite shore. Try her and tell me.
NO Disrespect.. BUT IN Your_V3 Download.....You have not fixed the hair folder by putting it in a Folder of it's own - in fact, you have totally ignored my help..., She installs without conflict, But now her hair texture is not working. ... UPDATE.. I have sorted it all out myself.. She is fine now..
On the 0007efb8.nif mesh, you set the textures path to nitrishape 44 (VanyaHair) has textures\SGHairs, but on the zip files the textures files (hairpg0020.dds and hairpg0020_n.dds) are in the folder textures\Vanya. That's the reason (at least om my game) the Vanya's hair it's still purple on this third version. As on the Vanya first version, I used nifskope to correct the textures path.
Vanya makes a nice follower. Good with a bow and dagger as she comes into the game. Unfortunately I had to use the placeatme command as her start location is taken up by the mod "Riverwood keep" by Skyrimlazz! If she were closer the the waterfall she would be in view! I upped her spec and gave her better equipment (and hair) so now she is closer to me in ability nice job!
Endorsed. I downloaded version 2. It works well. There are multiple mods that I have used in the past that use your original location. RIverwood is a busy area for followers.
I liked the name, I took it from Vanya Hargreeves, from the Umbrella Academy series, where it is supposed to be a Russian name for a woman, but I saw that it also existed as a Scandinavian feminine, instead it also appeared as masculine in Slavic, they are pronunciations similar to despite perhaps having very different origins. But if it bothers you, you can easily rename her with TES5Edit.exe. Greetings.

She is very cute! Only the name "Vanya" is male. There is no such female name (if I am mistaken, correct). There is a name Ivanna. Female name.

thanks, the name "Sasha" in Russia is a loving diminutive of Alexander, but in occident it is a female name. Andrea means "man" and in Italy it is used by men, however in all america it is a woman's name, Vanya is for Vanya Hargreeves.

However, everything looks ok with Jaz.
