Definitely a great mod! It works great, I wished I could've taken it letting him think I was going to do it then "reward" him by giving it to the town guards and make his day complete. But what can I say, I've tried mod building myself with no luck, so you have my compliments on an exceptional mod!
A++ mod! Excellent to be able to very logically point out that there's a guard right there who you could just give his note to, amazing incentive for him never to bother you again XD
Thank Todd! that you made this mod. i really, Really hated this quest as it forces you into accepting it without you being able to tell eltry to shove it up in his A$$!.

Been looking for this since ever, the reason I hate Markarth is this rando keep shoving paper into my hand & this dumb game won't let me throw it away! I wouldn't mind this quest if Bethesda actually knows how to make games (which they don't). So Forsworn Conspiracy + Namira = Ghost town!
Well, i can understand your point. But considering that the Silverbloods are even more unpleasant, i don't think it's so bad to waste them all. It would be cool an extension of the quest where instead you help Madanach take the place of the jarl. At that point those damn forsworn will be satisfied, right?

But I too don't like the dam snooty silver bloods, but I don't like having a quest forced on me just because some npc shoved paper into my pocket, Having use those 2 other mods, I went back to visit madenach, and it was all normal again, for friends of the forsworn.. I felt like there shouldve been more , idk what, just something, ( maybe a future plan )

Yes, and the changes and options added by the Choice Is Yours are more comprehensive. You can refuse, you can come back later and resume, and the dialogue continuing the quest is now conditional in several ways.
No offence to the OP of course, it's still a perfectly valid option to just make a lightweight standalone refusal like this one, for players who don't want to use TCIY.
The coverage in TCIY is a bit lacking. You cannot outright refuse the note and it is always added to your inventory, but you can ignore the whole matter after reading it. The quest, however, can be picked up later, since Eltrys will show up at the shrine just as it is written in the note. Also, when meeting up at the shrine you can only refuse his request if you did not save the woman.
FINALLY!!! Bless your soul mod author :) I get sooooo tired of having to console disable him after saving margarite so I can do things in Markarth without his dumb a$$ stalking and forcing a mission on me then enable him when I leave and just generally hating Markarth because of the headache of avoiding him. (I Haaaaaaate quest log forcing).

I currently have him TAI'd (TAI = Toggle AI), so he can't come up to me.
I also use TAI on Brynjolf, Maul, and that damn courier! :D
