Just a heads up. I really like this mod, and use it a lot, but beware that there are aprox. 1500 orphan scripts running on the saves. You can remove them in TESV Edit, but they might corrupt something anyway.
I suppose if one would want to start at a very specific location and avoid any triggers, events and whatnot by running there from nearest location, some hidden/test/debug/ChargenExit cell could be used for starting cell and then COW to teleport to desired coordinates. Result of Player.GetPos for X and Y divided by 4096 can be used to retrieve the cell coordinates or alternatively through Creation Kit.
I really can see the potential in this simple mod , but tbh I only wanted a different start mod that allows the player to spawn in any location without premade presets or the coc code maybe in the future but Iknow that is a hell of work to do
Thanks, really no potential i mean its a save game, the work has been done, if people would prefer to create their own saves then they have my video tutorial on how to do it. Premade presets as in a save game, which starts you at level 1, with no ties to the main quest and your choice of starting at any of the borders of skyrim, including the ship areas. Was more work to record the videos and edit them then it was for this. Just a save game, i only had 9 saves because other then arriving on the borders, i couldn't really think of any other way a person would come into the land as a new adventurer/traveler/explorer so unless there was some backstory based on where the location was at.
If you had a place you wanted to start at maybe i could setup a save for you for that location if your interested.
thanks for the reply I only really wanted to spawn outside the dayspring pass before entering fort dawnguard (nvm your riften save works very well) entrance and the hunters camp in eastmarch (the ones taking a bath) and thats its literally all.
Really? Have you any idea what i have here? This is 9 game saves, each save is at a different location mainly the borders of the map, its not a mod, big difference. Also the mod you linked is a mod, i think 7 million downloads of that mod speaks for itself.
What i created was simple, it not only bypasses the whole intro, but it allows you to start at the nine locations and create a character without having to follow or do the main quest. On top of that unlike other "mods" which this is not, or save games i spent two days recording and editing a video for a tutorial on how to do what i did which is simple in itself.
