    WOAH!, only just seen this disaster, i ran the mesh through nif optimizer. I'll set the mesh up from scratch using the LE mesh, should have done anyway, sorry about that, i'll sort it out...

      Don't worry, Cunny. Anomalies happen from time to time.    

      Bibonogo recommended changing two of the shader flags from skinned to specular and it fixed the problem for me. I just sent a message to AndragonFirefly. I'm hoping this will solve their issue, too.

      Is it properly animated?, i'll change the 2 shapes from skinned to specular then and upload them again. I'll check in game first this time...

      As far as I know, the skinned shader flag is only used with armor. That’s how I knew to change them. Glad I could help and love the new altar.

    It's like HDT going crazy but it's this altar. IDK what is causing it to do this.

      I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but I have this problem, too. Mine flashes bright red and turquoise all the way over the entrance of the chamber. Disabling the altar itself fixes the problem, but that's obviously not an ideal solution.

      I had the same problem. I opened the mesh with nifscope and discovered that the two top swirly parts had the shader flag ‘skinned’. I changed both to ‘specular’ and now it works fine.

      well you only really see it once on your travels, unless you go back, tried to make it look more daedric, magical, got rid of the low quality wolf queen decal which was on top, i'm gonna make an alternative with a bloody pentagram surface with offerings on top...looking more like they are trying to ressurect something...namely Potema

      i like your screenshots a lot actually ,what landscape and architecture mods are u using ?
      and everytime i try starting a playthrough i find a fort , plant or a stonewall with a terrible diffuse my hand start itching.

      pretty sure the textures in the screenshot are from Skyland - Imperial Forts and Dungeons by Johnrose81, i use Clearance Clarence's stuff for mines and caves, skyrim 3D trees and landscapes by Mathy, not entirely sure because i install manually over time, cities are a mixture a of stuff, some mine, some others, Hype's doors, i really like the ratway textures by T4gtr34um3r in his underground - dungeons mod, best i've seen for the ratway, suit it really well, mountains i can't remember what i have now
