Can't this just be done as a simple mesh and texture replacer that doesn't monkey with paths or have an ESP? I've looked over the main mod and the two patch files, and trying to get this to work with CACO would be a nightmare. It LOOKS great, but for a well-modded game it's basically not usable.
I don't think you don't need the ESP, just disable it and make sure Mod Organizer is handling the BSA in the Archives tab. The flowers are loading fine in the game
I have the old version installed and its just mesh and texture files. The new version is a bsa and esp file. Aside from the way it is packaged what changes are in the updated version?

Finally! A mountain flower overhaul that covers the yellow variant as well, and is absolutely stunning. Porting this over to LE is a blessing, thank you so very much for sharing this!
I wasn't sure if it was intentional, but this mod doesn't cover the flowers planted in gardens or planters for Hearthfire. I did some copy-and-paste work to cover the planter flowers also and it works beautifully in my game, if anyone wants to know about this, let me know, I don't know if anyone cares about this part as much as I did. Thank you again, this mod is such a treasure :D
Add a folder or navigate to data\meshes\_byoh\plants
Then copy the following files from this mod (found in data\meshes\plants): floramountainflower01blue.nif floramountainflower01purple.nif floramountainflower01red.nif
Paste these files in your meshes\_byoh\plants folder
Rename these newly pasted files accordingly: byohhouseingrdmtflblue01.nif byohhouseingrdmtflpurple01.nif byohhouseingrdmtflred01.nif
I hope this helps! The .nif files call to the textures already so there's no need to do anything with the texture files to get these new meshes to work
These flowers are breath-takingly beautiful! I used a screenshot of them for my desktop through winter/spring. I especially love the snowy ones. Thank you!

Install this mod first
Add a folder or navigate to data\meshes\_byoh\plants
Then copy the following files from this mod (found in data\meshes\plants):
floramountainflower01blue.nif
floramountainflower01purple.nif
floramountainflower01red.nif
Paste these files in your meshes\_byoh\plants folder
Rename these newly pasted files accordingly:
