I highly suggest to use my meshes together with the textures.
I changed texture paths and many UV-maps to make them fit better and fixed all the flickering decals as well.

Just confirming that the 1.8 update only edits some meshes? Is this correct?

Yes all updates since 1.6 are mesh changes... they are modified (also bug corrected) to give a better support to my texture set, I highly suggest to use them

    Hello Aron,
I have a little problem with your floor textures and renthals "Project market well" mesh (wrmainroadmarket.nif). There are small colored borders in some corners. And some floor stones around the well are flat.
    Spoiler:
    Show

Unfortunately, I can't ask him because he removed his mods and he has not been active for a long time.
When I use your mesh everything is ok with the textures, but then unfortunately the well is gone too. Could you make a patch for it? That would be great, because I love this fountain but also your textures.

That bug looks really strange, like the scaling of the marketplace is wrong... does this happen as well if you use renthals mod alone?

I don't know right now, but I can try it without your textures and meshes and report back asap.

I hope you have an idea to solve this issue. If you need the mod, I can send it to you.

It really looks like the scale or rotation of Renthls marketplace is slightly changed...
Basically this could be corrected easily, but since the bug isn't connected to my mod it should be offered by Renthal himself.
Furthermore it's not allowed or at least not welcomed to offer someone elses meshes without permission here on Nexus.
Is he still active? We could just ask him;)

Oh, I didn't mean that, just for personal use. Sorry! As far as I know, he is no longer active and unfortunately he removed his mods a long time ago.
If he was still active here I would have asked him.

Renthal gave permission to use all his assets as long as credited ,i've already talked with him he's a truely awesome dude and his loss is a big one for the nexus too.
      Hi Aron ,hi Queenie cheers
btw ,Ambershore made a higher poly marketplace nif and few goodies in whiterun with fixes seams and Uvs ,unfortunately no parallax support yet

      Hehe!
As it happens I made the very same changes as this author did;)
became aware of the unnecesary texture usage while editing the meshes.
Though I replaced it with rocks and ivy instead of coblestones...

    Hi Hein,
I have downloaded most of your mods, you have unique and realism style which I really admire. Many thanks for your passion and persistance on graphics.
Could you tell me how do you think of paralax? How do you feel paralax with wood textures and gress textures and stone textures?

My first paralax mod was 32cm's Tamriel Reloaded, that was huge FPS drop, after like 3 monthes game play, I feel somehow the view doesn't deserve such FPS lose, if my PC can not support enough FPS. But some people are very confident with paralax in video games, I'm interested.

By the way, this mod turely look amazing and seamless.

      Hey!
I would use parallax just for EVERY texture! :)
The tecnique is quite old and VERY performance friendly, even on my old rig from ten years ago it didn't affect performance measurably.
I'm quite sure it was the whole weight of Tamriel Reloaded (a great mod by the way) and not the parallax effect itself which affected yours.
Texture size does have much more impact on your FPS than parallax

Hi, I had to come back here again to tell you how GORGEOUS your textures look like in my game!!!
Thanks again. I've uploaded some screenshots, I hope there aren't too many. But I enjoyed it so much because my Whiterun never looked better. If there are too many for you, you can delete some of them.!!!

      Hey,
I'll keep them all, they are just to good!
You have an amazing looking Whiterun setup, never saw goats in the city before
Looks like you also edited a lot of meshes to make the climbing plants appear more often among other things, really nice

      Thanks!
I use a lot of animal mods and Dawn of Skyrim, maybe this mod add goats. But I did not edit any mesh, ( I do not know how to do this ) I guess it's from Tamriel Reloaded, there are more wall meshes and textures like normal and I replaced them with your meshes and textures.

First off, thank you for the mod. I consider some of your Vivid series must haves like Nordic Ruins, Imperial Forts, and Volcanic Area. I've tried others but always come back to those. And thank you for not making all the meshes parallax by default and then requiring a no parallax patch that doesn't unparallax all the meshes but only comes with nullified _p.dds files. I love everything that has to do with the city brick walls in this mod: citywall(s), mossalpha, topcap, plasterdecals, stonemortar, stoneblocks. They're a bit bright in my game but nothing some tinkering can't fix. However, there is some noticeable tiling with the stonefloor textures and I get some white outlines on some of the bricks almost like a specularity. And in my humble opinion the slate textures just look out of place. Slate02 is the same texture for the steps of the hearthfire houses and it's the same step repeated so you get the same missing dark brick spot on all the steps of those homes. On your mesh edits, did you adjust UV on any of the field grass, stonebase, stonefloor areas? I ask,  because they're not my favorite so I'd like to try and use Noble for those and just tinker with coloring to get them to match since they're pretty gray in tone and this mod has a very brown color pad to it. I realize its a snowball effect with some of these.. Stonebase1 has to match stonebase2 which has to match field grass because they use parts of one another and so on. Again, the citywalls are the best I've seen.

wasn't aware that hearthfire stairs use the same texture... easiest way to fix this would be to redirect their texture to slate01 in a patch... anyone an idea off which meshes we are talking about?
In Whiterun itself slate02 works out quite well I think...

Yeah, on the floor bricks a strong specularity is used, it's supposed to look wet:

Think I found the Hearthfire stairs you are talking about... going to upload a nice patch for it soon, the Sovngarde stairs as well;)

Thank you for replying to my long windedness.  I thought it was a specularity but it's way more pronounced in my game than that screenshot, so it's most likely my setup.
