this preset is truly so good. i've been trying to make it work the past few days but i've been running into some issues.
i've downloaded the mods ks hairdos, sg female eyebrows, sg female textures renewal, hvergelmir brows, bijin skin in order to make the preset work. also, i noticed that the mod elegant beauty stunning eyes is gone and i don't know if that's why the preset isn't working for me.
it's weird bc i got it to work yesterday whilst also having ethereal elven overhaul installed as well because another person in the comments said it helped them to get the mod to work. also, i checked the preset itself and found that there was a mod called dovahthaypresets.esp that was missing so i did some digging to find it and i think i downloaded the right one. it ended up working for a time but eventually stopped.
when i checked again, the preset wasn't working so i'm not sure. i've also followed all of the steps in the pics you've provided as well.
any help would be great!
update: i installed the mod manually and i'm still running into the same issues. the main file is missing the dovahthay plugin and the one i found on nexus is pretty unstable. when i change the face part to 1 before loading the preset it'll work but for some reason even though it works, it will still revert back to a completely distorted face no matter what i do. it reverts back randomly and the normal preset wont consistently work
Found a slight ESP issue. You have the ESP weight set to 40 but the neck gap for the included FaceGen weight is 60 hairline03 set to wrong texture locations as well
Solution: Open the ESP with TESVEdit set weight from 40 to 60
Only needed if your In a current playthrough with this already installed Highlight NPC setnpcweight 60 disable enable
I really love this followers look, which hairstyles did you merge from KS hairdos? it looks so thick and lovely, you did a great job. I am looking forward to having her as a follower.
I downloaded the UUNP version and she is very beautiful. But why does she play the drums and the flute? I saw in the CK that she has the bards faction. I noticed she wasn't following me, went back to look for her and found her playing the flute on the road. Happens often and it's quite annoying.
No answer from the author on this. Anyway, I deleted her bards faction in the CK but the flute music still played occasionally with her standing still until the music stopped, however she didn't have the flute. Then I copied all her files including the esp (without the bards faction) into a new folder, re-zipped it and re-installed it. Started a new game and this time she seems to have lost her bards faction and is working normally. Nice follower.
Can confirm your fix worked for me too. No bard faction; I cant get the custom weapon to work though, but that's fine. At least I got her proper outfit to show up properly, otherwise she was dressed in College mage {destruction} robes
Strange; for Auriel {and Arwen} the additem menu shows up for both of them., but there is nothing for Aredhel ? is she not to have custom armors ? I downloaded the UNP version, but.... shes only wearing the generic apprentice robes of destruction, a generic elven sword, generic boots of minor destruction
Did I miss something ? {note, she looks great in my game!}
EDIT: I already have Devine Elegance store, so those dresses are not a problem. and since I mentioned I also have Auriel downloaded, I can use her armor for Aredhel too. I figure that can work as was the intent ?
GOOD NEWS: The preset works perfectly! Just had to experiment with the hair though, its really nice!
Thanks so much for the reply. ^-^ Yea, it looked like some type of KS hairdo to me, but not one I have. But maybe I could learn to combine them myself and that would be even better. Can that be done using BodySlide's Outfit Studio, or do you know of a tutorial?
