Powerofthree isn't supporting LE mods anymore. Whining about it won't change it. I stick with LE for my own reasons, but SKSE based mods just aren't backportable.
Sorry to be asking this here; but I am not sure where else to go. I am using the spell perk item distributer as part of the Maximum Carnage mod. Everything is working as it should except 2 issues. 1. NPC are giving the gore effect but the chest equipment (armor, robe etc) is stripped leaving them naked. 2. if you use the 3 swing on the dead body it explodes into a husk of random creature body parts. The 2nd I think is an issue purely with Maximum carnage. The 1st I think has something to do with how the equipment is distributed to the NPCs. MC can't recognize the modded equipment so it just removes it maybe. I am using immersive armors and complete crafting overhaul; I suspect one of them is conflicting with MC's ability to recognized the equipped armor. I did attempt to look of the MC distr.ini and got this:
I think for the spells it is correct but there is nothing about items in this list. I am guessing to correct the issue I would have to distribute the MC form ids and information to the immersive armor or crafting overhaul or maybe both, but I am not 100% sure how to do that correctly (the examples provided only give spell examples and not items). I would uninstall IA and CCO but I have those heavily customized at this point and I really don't want to lose that work.
I been messing around with mods in this game for like 10 years now but this one has got me baffled.
Edit: I found and watched a tutorial on SPID and if I understand it correct, I no longer think SPID is to blame for the naked npc MC issue given that SPID is responsible only for distributing the spell of MC and has nothing to do with distributing the sell to items. So now I am back to square one of having absolutely no idea why the NPCs are getting stripped of the chest equipment slot. And because of the way the mod author locks down comments it is difficult to get answers.
i wonder if it could be that ur using some custom unique bodies or skeletons. even tho maxcarn has talked about the naked corpse being fixed in numerous versions, i still get it to. and pretty sure it's because i have a mod that distributed different body nif, tex, nd skeletons per gender and race. also got tons of armors of different body types in the leveled lists. i think that's why it happens to me
I'm having the same problem with Maximum Carnage. I have disabled all mods other than the main requirements but still no luck. Any chance you found a solution?
Same problem and i tried MC 7.2 - 7.0 - 6.9. I run CBBE for women and SOS for men. I have installed the patch for both of them. Still NPCs become naked. Did you manage to fix it???
@awwcrap: Amazingly, this worked for me. Hooded humans (e.g. wearing Mage's Robe) still get stripped though, but it's rare enough to be tolerable. Thank you, sir.

go to the distr.inis and change
0x03014495 to 0x04014495
in essence replace the 3 with a 4. Do the same with the rieklings line
