Warning stupid and unrelated questions to follow. I have looked high and low to answer this question and can not find a consistent answer. Do large armor mods impact performance? I would like to use one mod that is over 1Gb, will using such a mod hit performance?
It will make loading the game take longer since it has to load all the new files but once the game starts there's no difference since the game only runs what's loaded and assuming its a replacer and not new added armor there will be no difference. The only way there's a difference is if you are going from 1k textures to 4k or 8k textures which effects video memory use.
And a ginormous THANK YOU for your reply kind one. And not to look a gift horse in the mouth but, if I may ask; what if they are not replacers but new armor say like maybe BDOR 2.0 armor pack?
