Instead of merely reducing the ice skating, can you remove it completely. Make it like Dark souls, you and your enemies, unless your using directional power attacks, must already be in a position to allow for your attack to land
From what I understand from other mods that do similar, removing skating altogether also gets rid of sideways attack animations, which is kind of a bummer.
I'm interested in this mod, but before I add it to my game I'd like to know what it actually does and how it does it. Is it an animation revision? Is it a script change? Does it simply slow down side-movement attacks? I can make guesses, but that's not optimal IMO.
Basically, I'd like to see the description expanded so potential users know what they're downloading. Thanks for your consideration!
Looking the mod with TES5edit, it is just an esp. archive that edits (reduce) the displacement from actors during attacks. No DDL, no Scripts, no actor meshes.
