I converted this to SE and I've spent the better part of the day trying to get this to work with spear/pike mods. I've had some success with Animated Armory, but it speeds up the animation a bit too fast. If anyone has any ideas on how I can slow it down or get it working with other mods let me know!
This mod correctly replaces only two-handed sword animations. If the player character uses scythe which classifyes as two-handed axe, turning animations stay untouched and it looks quiet strange when the player character changes his grip everytime he turnes left or right. Also I would like to suggest to change grip points a little bit, because the player character holds his hands right on the blade on some weapons. For example, this mod can't be used with Fujiwara Yoshioka Naginata: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58806 Anyway, I wll keep using this great mod. Animations look really good.
Good news. With the advent of Skysa (credit to distar) I am able to implement these animations into the game as I intended. The mod is coming but it will take a while since I have to reanimate them. Look forward to glaive/spear roleplay!
Really awesome mod and animations, but I just wanted to point out that that weapon is a glaive and not a lance(i think, please correct me if I'm wrong)((I'm very fun at parties)).
Anyone got any good mods for weapons to use with this? I'm loving the animations, but can't find weapons that they work with; I end up gripping the blade with the idle, and with some of the thrusts, but I still prefer the thrusts from this mod than others.
