I was wondering would it be possible to to create a mod which could alter movement speed in the game in a dynamic way? Let's say when you press/hold WASD keys some sort of speed-o-meter would appear, showing your current speed and you could change it to higher/lower +-10% as you move for example with mouse scroll up/down. This would give you a more realistic control of your movement speed just like in real life. The WASD movement on PC is so inferior to analog sticks but with such a mod I think we could get a pretty immersive experience.
Thankyou for this great little mod. I've been looking for something to slow down swimming speeds for quite some time, quick question though, I cant seem to edit any of the values in tesedit, any idea why?
you can install the mod with your mod manager of choice. Nothing fancy there. If you wanted to manually install it, you would also just have to drop the plugin into the \data folder, which is exactly what mod managers do. And then you shouldnt forget to actually activate the plugin. Especially with nmm you could have the problem of it being initially disabled, so i recommend you to check the plugin tab as well.
I fear that the changes my mod makes are more easily felt than seen with one's eyes. I was expecting the description to be enough information to know what this mod is about. But I guess I could add some topic related screenshots in the near future in that regard, so thank you for your input.
i get what you're saying, don't think i'm being uptight or anything, but if you did a side-by-side of what the animations look like with your mod vs without, i think it would do some real damage.
truth be told, i don't think the speeds are quite realistic, everybody runs differently and pictures a different set of speed in their game, everytime i start a new character, my first three lines in the console are player.forceav speedmult 111 player.forceav leftweaponspeedmult 1.2 player.forceav weaponspeedmult 1.2 and then i add 3 perks and i'm done, after setting the mods up, im just giving my input, not trying to be an ass.
