Is this the most polished Weapon inclusion mod? No, not by a long shot. It has several problems I feel with some of the weapons speeds (the giant sword - both 1 handed and 2 handed is extremely slow to the point its impractical for starters), and some of the effects are insanely OP under certain circumstances (Onigiri I believe has a +300damage effect if you time block). While I don't know if some of the OP effects work against the player, it still made the game a little unbalanced.
BUT, what I do like is to see Modders expand available weaponry, and I do love armor and weapon compilations, especially on Oldrim since it doesn't get nearly enough love these days with those kinds of mods compared to SSE.
Personally, I think if some of the weapons got rebalanced and retweaked and some of the more powerful abilities pulled back and overall polished a bit more this would be a very welcomed addition to any player looking to add more weapons to find in their game. especially since a lot of the textures are very good.
Just a heads up for anyone reading this, all the above can easily be fixed on your end in very little time. All these weapons can be tweaked in tes5edit to increase/decrease speed, change weight, distance etc. Just open this esp in Tes5edit, expand the weapon tab, left click on any weapon and you will see on the right side all sorts of values. As an example, find weapon speed, right click on it and click edit, say yes to the warning, and change a slow twohanded weapon to something like .90 Exit tes5edit and save the esp on the prompt and now the weapon will have the new speed in game.
Alternatively, the mod Proteus, can do this in game through its lesser power amongst a ton of other hacks/cheats in game.
