So if I have a clothes mod installed and say it makes an NPC like Lydia wear something ugly casing this spell on her will set her back into her default armor?
Yeah, you can do this through console commands too. Though normally that will re-do their entire inventory. For example, if you give them something and use this command, that item will disappear. You could also theoretically use this to give an npc stuff over and over again so you can take it from them repeatedly. Though if you're going to do that, it would be simpler to just straight use console commands to add stuff to your inventory.
