I've got a question, not directly to do with the mod itself, but the magic idle in the video, does anyone know where that idle comes from? and if it's a skyrim SE only animation?
Hey there Im also have the same issue with mist raven, when attacked instead of "cloud effect " i get Big Blue Squares , perhaps a missing texture or effect ? ( or maybe something to do with ENB ? Complex particle lights ? )
also is it the intended effect for the firecracker skill to pause movement ? ( similar to TK HitStop) ? I noticed it drops my Fps by 1 with every use.
Unfortunately I cannot replicate your "blue square" issue, I just uploaded an image.. that's how i see the effect in my game. could it be a mod conflict maybe? make sure bsa is in your data folder. (let's see if happens to anyone else, I honestly don't know what the issue could be..)
as for the "Hits stop" effect it isn't intended, that i'll say, although with all the dust and firework 1 or 2 fps fluctuation isn't unexpected.
I see, i will fiddle around with my ENB settings in regards to raven mist , ill also try a manual install vs Vortex install . I will upload an image if you want.

Edit * ok so after messing around with my ENB i can say its not that which is causing the problem , Ive uploaded an image so you can see what im talking about , usually when ever ive encountered something like that its due to missing textures or the running out of video memory , i will continue testing ( im on a 2070 super 8gb ) so i dont think its a memory issue however OldRim is never short of surprises :/

Edit 2 * alright im stumped everything looks good , i unpacked the bsa files and compared it to the sse version and everything looks solid, the only thing i can think of is an incompatibility with a mod that changes magical effects or an incompatible texture with Oldrim ( Highly unlikely) or an incompatibility with a perk mod ? ( even more highly unlikely ? )
ive endorsed and will keep it in my load order with any luck a Oldrim wizard will solve this mystery
Do you have Dragonborn DLC? I think the smoke plumes use similar texture aliases to the green smoke mist of the poison rune. My mods usually use dlc assets, though they aren't listed because everyone have DLCs on special edition @.@
Yup all DLC legendary edition , i have no idea what might be causing that specific texture to not load
its not a Vram issue since i can cast this mod with no problem, its way more intensive i think with no graphical oddities

*Edit Since you mentioned that your mod use's DLC assets i tried loading it in the CK but it wont let me. I have all the right resource-archive- list-2 tweaks to allow DLC assets to load . perhaps that's a hint pertaining to the problem ?
Also correct me if im wrong, Do Mods in SSE have have different pathing ? the problem could be a pathing issue were the game cant recognize the texture because its not packed correctly ?
another great moder, how i am proud.. wellcome here.. i have one request, if possible, can you port overlord mod from special edition? for me shinobi combat from sekiro is not working as i have weak pc, can you make some stealth spells for ninjas, like chameleon or assasination?
Alright as i mentioned below , if I had to guess the problem with mist raven is that the effect/texture is not loading which results in blue/purple squares , if anybody else is experiencing this please reach out for solutions.
i cant get it to load properly tried manual install , vanilla game , to no avail :(
all other skills work flawlessly.

1- load mod to the Creation Kit.
2-click on Magic Effect
3- Open all the following, MistRavenEffect/ MistRavenEffect2 / MistRavenEffectNPC
4-For all the above select Hit Effect Art- change to SP Feather Effect , Select Image Space Mod and set it to none
Done - difference is no Mist Trail with Double Feather Effect. Hope this helps
