it doesn't seem to work with the 1.8 version of Skysa. as in i only get vanilla animations same goes to the awakened Great-sword animation. is there any way for this mod to work with sgc. since the valkyrie animation and sister friede where working fine but the two handed animations do not work.

Question tho, I really am not sure which one of my mod or animation files that stopped me from combo-ing i.e. the situation is that..
1. i can only swing once, whichever direction or how many times i mash my mouse button. swing once, then it stopped. 2. back, left, right, forward pwr attacks are all the same 4-slash forward power attack. 3. the stopping motion sequence however works just as intended by SkySA. But only that part, even the 1-handed sword only consist of the 3-slash combo and forward power attacks for all direction.
Perhaps u can recommend me on a guide? SkySA has blocked their comment section, and i can't seem to find a thread discussing this problem. :/
Yea, think that's just how SkySA works, you cannot do any side or backward power attacks (though you can if you time your dodge and power attack during the the end of the dodge animation). Not sure why you can only swing once, have never seen that before, maybe try and reinstall the mod or re running nemesis.
hmm that's just sad.. Anyway, i did a clean reinstall of my skyrim cos it got so messed up due to vortex. I reinstalled ur mod again and works fine! Except for that power attack matter. I guess it'll just have to do for now.
so i downloaded this on the 5th of September 2020, its now the 7th and its telling me there is an update available. My question is, what was changed??
also im having trouble figuring this out, as I have other DAR animations and Nemesis PCEA animations I turned off for now, but things still get janky with the sword animations.
Specifically the 1h & 2h Power-attack forward. with 1h weapons if I use the power-attack forward my character will twist his arms real fast and then lock the sword in a reverse block pose. My characters upper body then remains posed like that until I use the dynamic combat's 3-hit-combo attack (X/Square Gamepad button while moving<Yes I play Skyrim with a controller>) or the dodge-roll, which is easy enough to get out. But this effectively leaves me with a broken 1h forward power-attack.
the 2h foreward Power-attack is less broken but more janky, as my character does the same weird arm twisting, but it continues as I hold the attack button, charging up the move, and if i release the button before it is fully charged, then my character will snap back to the animation and commit to carrying out the attack as per usual. But if i continue to hold the attack button (right trigger) and charge the move fully, then my character will get locked into a similar pose, as mentioned prior, and again im forced to dodge-roll or combo attack to get unstuck from it.
im not sure which mod is affecting it, but it started after installing this mod and its requirements (since I installed them all at once)
I mainly use Nexus Mod Manager for my Bethesda games, Its the program im the most familiar with and have been using iterations of it for over a decade. I have Mod Organizer and also Vortex, but I just cant fully figure those out and am more prone to making game breaking mistakes when trying to install mods with those managers. So if there is anyway around using those to mitigate this issue, I would prefer that instead. But im up for tackling this issue anyway possible if necessary.
There were no changes to the animations, I updated the file structure since there was a folder missing, so that it would work better when using "Dynamic animation replacer" mod.
Unfortunately I don't know what could be causing your issue, it sounds like your power attack animations are being held in a "charging" animation until you release it, only mod I know that does that is "characters behavior enhanced", could that be something you're using?
