A longsword is around 5 feet at the longest, and a lot of people call those "warswords." though that's not an official term. Also, bastard swords (also called hand-and-half swords) were actually shorter than longswords. In between the length of an arming sword and longsword, roughly speaking. Since there were no set lengths for either. So while you are correct that this sword is shorter than many real-life longswords, not most. It's closer to the length of a longsword than a bastard sword, though. Judging by the pictures, at least.
