Mod does not do what it says in the description. It is incompatible with the Assassin's Blade perk, and anything else that selectively modifies daggers.
@Darkangel13 One fix to that is combining it with either The Dance of Death or Killmove Control. They also remove the last enemy requirement so every single opponent gets destroyed pro-style.
Another fix has been made which dual classifies daggers as both dagger and sword. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13720 All benefits from both types [silent killing from dagger and 1h fort enchant from swords, etc, etc] should now work with all daggers.
technicaly the only REAL advantage that ever was to dagger is the silent kill... Now you asking what is the silent kill? technicaly striking with any weapon other then a dagger will declare you to close to every foe in the area even if the blow miss. using a dagger however wont break stealth and or show your location to foe as long as the target is slain outright. You can actualy even keep fighting that single target alone while stealthed and no one will notice you still altrought they may search for you (ive killed a draugr when the place was basicaly crawling with draugr simply because they wouldnt notice me because i stayed in sneak mode while spamming my power attack on the single draugr that spoted me and when it died my eye was barely half open so i simply managed to hide again Dagger could be a decent weapon on master but only with the assasin gloves and again ONLY if you are a god of stealth that never gets detected (cuz if you do you in serious trouble)
aw this mode would be perfect if it actualy acted for All daggers including the third party ones such as shard of azzinoth or dragonbones
PS: it doesnt seem to work for non enchanted blade of woe either... but yea at least i get to enjoy some real assasination derby
LOL not even get the x15? what kind of joke is this whats the point of doing x6 with a dagger when a sword does 80 more damage then it even with the enchant bonus... if you are to nerf dagger backstab start by also nerfing it with all the other weapon so not to kill the very reason we use dagger for wich is to say stealth 1 shot skills(my daedric dagger may do 117 damage but my dragonbone katana deals for 190! why the hell would i use a daedric dagger for over a dragonbone katana now if i cant even benefit from the backstab perk for... make a version wich wont affect dagger backstab perk at least. Or oh well maybe ill just save time and do it myself in the name of all of the gangsta assasin character in the world)
Even with damage bonus dagger still will feel like an underpowered version of the sword out of stealth. Beside what point is there to speed? go get elemental fury and speeding up your weapon is total useless you swing a pair of hammer at the speed of light either way. after that a good sword with a sheild will ALWAYS be better then a pair of dagger against a elder dragon no mather how much you boost them
Anyway if i understood what you did well you simply changed all daggers type to sword so to kill the sneak bonus and give the dagger access to the sword bonus... cool but thats not enough.

All of the math, statistics and other fun stuff is all listed in the above thread.
I want to say thanks for someone finally trying to fix what should have been fixed pre-launch and that I'm anxiously waiting for the assassins blade fix for this. only hitting a 12x kind of negated half of the reason I wanted the mod XD
i dont get it i use daggers in the vanilla and i get the estre dmg from the enchandmens ind the oder gear i hav on that give 20 % more dmg to ondhanded
@nathanj there is so much in Skyrim that requires you to purposely handicap yourself just to add enough challenge to make it fun. I've found a good niche though, and have long accepted that Bethesda games are broken as hell, and just give you the tools to have a fun sandbox game with some RPG thrown in.
As for the mod, thanks. I wasn't ever sure why one-hand pots/enchants/perks never affected daggers.
