Is there a recommended level for this? Played through it just now. Nothing really challenging until I got to what I think is the final room. I was up against enemies I clearly didn't stand a chance against. Burned through all my health potions, and could barely damage them.

Also, I found the darkness of this mod annoying. Keep in mind, I've never played through a horror mod (other than It Beats for Her). I couldn't see ever to fight things. I kept running into walls and tables because my screen was completely black and there didn't seem much I could do about it. After my one torch gave out, I was relying on my follower to light the way for me. This was all more annoying than anything else. I was playing a two-hander too, so I couldn't hold a torch and fight at the same time anyway. Playing through this, I wished I had the candlelight spell just so I wasn't mindlessly running into walls waiting for my follower to catch up with her torch.

Did I do something wrong? Are all horror quest mods like this? I won't be continuing with this; I'm going to load a save from before I even entered the dungeon and continue on since I clearly can't complete it yet. Maybe once my character is higher level. I was level 10 when I entered the dungeon keep in mind. Clearly I need better resistances and better light sources.

This is an awesome mod! I love the mazes and the mechanics however... I MUST WARN there is a bug that PERMANENTLY affects followers where the gold drain effect NEVER goes away on them. I have not found a fix for this bug whatsoever. Teleporting to Solstheim does not fix this. MAKE A SAVE before entering!!!

I was never able to solve this bug. I imagine there's a yellow trail as well? The only solution is loading a previous save.

Absolutely love these quest mods, great locations and the mod lore fits perfectly with the established canon of elder scrolls. Highly recommend this mod if your looking for a few hours to kill with some great battles and amazing environments, rewards are interesting and great for any point in a playthrough.

    Personal rating:

Graphics - 10/10 "unique style and amazing use of vanilla assets in unique ways.
Gameplay - 8/10 "the mods defining mechanics while tricky to get a hang of are enjoyable"
Replayability - 9/10 "location feel like it was in the game to begin with, a new permanent place in my order"

Not Worth it. it was fun at the start but lost it mid way through. the "gold eaters" are absurd with the gold drain. (as a test i gave my self 300000 gold and sprinted past one gold eater and i was left with under 100000 in less than a second.

What do the ancient nordic coins do? Are they just an "I went to the Yellow King castle and lived!" thing?

I have a question - can the three mods in this series (Red Flame, Orange Moon, Yellow King) be safely merged? They all look like amazing dungeons, but I'm running extremely short on plugin space. D:

In order to open the door in the Throne Room, you need the skulls of King Hahdrim's sons. At the top of each wing of the tomb, there is a circular room where you fight one of the sons. On a pedestal in front of the door is a skull.

Eventually, yes. I've already started work on green.
