I believe that the reason people, like me, want to know the stats up front is because I already HAVE a bazillion sword mods, and I want to see whether this sword should be added to my current playthrough or saved until the next playthrough. Either way, we download it, but it helps us play the game. At least, that's the way I see it.

      Thank you SC :)
Beware though..... over 12,000 vertices and 2K textures.

When Oblivion came out it was at the ragged edge of what the hardware of the time could handle. People would complain about high poly models and larger textures since it push their hardware over the edge of what it could handle and crash the game.
I got used to a minimalistic approach to modeling relying on bump maps more for detail to keep poly count low.
It is nice that the hardware has surpassed the software with Skyrim and things like ENB that allows for better usage of available system and video ram.
It allows for larger texture files and more detailed models in game. :)
