I've tried quite a few simple and crazy home mods, and I do really like this one. It's both beautiful, but not over the top. And my pet Dovahbear feels right at home. I especially love the main bedroom (with the window effects) and the walkway to the front door, however I would have done the interior entry a little different, not with that windy path between walls. The layout of everything else is just fine the way it is, and I like that it's all Symmetrical. I'm looking forward to your future edits, to support a follower/spouse, and perhaps even improvement on the entry.

I Suggest using the mod Spouses Live Anywhere Mod Until he makes it so you can move your Spouse In

I had the same breezehome crash, so here's a workaround:
    Open suncrest hall.esp with tes5edit,
find door 0200A2D1 AAAsuncrestportwhite, replace the MODL (model filename) and copy the one from solitude.
Save and get back to your Whiterun home.
The problem seems to come from the nif in Architecture\whiterun\WRBuildinds\WRBreezehome01.nif, change it and it's okay.
Hope it will help to enjoy this great house.

      Hello,

I found door 0200A2D1 AAAsuncrestportwhite, but I wasn't sure exactly what the instructions were saying to change.

It says "... replace the MODL (model filename) and copy the one from solitude".

I see that when I have the door selected, the detailed info for the door is shown in the 'pane' on the right. I see that it mentions "WRBreezehome01.nif".

Could someone tell me exactly what value I am supposed to to change and to what? I'm not sure 'how' to get whatever the needed value is from 'solitude'.

I'm sure that for someone that has played with mods before that this is probably pretty easy, but I'm rather clueless about how the mods work as of yet.

Thanks for any help any of you can provide!

I downloaded it a few weeks ago and I had a major problem: As soon as I attempted to enter Breezehome the game crashed. After some research I found out that it was this mod causing it.

I tried the mod out a few days ago and had the same issue. Breezehome becomes unuseable with this mod installed.

I like what I saw of the mod before I had to disable it.

It doesn't look like the mod has been updated in a loooonnngggg time. Perhaps some wonderful person could figure out the issue and come up with a fix?

Pretty please? With cherries on top?

edit: I read down this page a bit further and saw that indeed a wonderful person had indeed come up with a fix! Now to try it out!

Layout of the house was stunning, one of the best I have seen. Your attention to detail was impressive. Now to a little constructive criticism.
-Armor dummies are a must have. I wouldn't go crazy because your house has a very nice clean feeling.
-Allow some empty storage in the vault for accumulated treasure.
-Add some automatic weapon mount tabs in the display cases.
    - a wood chopping block if you didn't already (I may have missed it)
-Finally, and this is up to you, a secret vault or armory. Most of the really popular houses have secret rooms.
Overall, one of the best initial designs I have seen, and I can't wait to see what you do next. This could easily be the best house mod in the game with some minor tweaks. Keep up the good work!

It's really very well done, and the aim of being "aesthetically pleasing" without doubt has been achieved (imo). This applies to the outside as well as the inside. Looking at the screenshots again, I think there are some more rooms I haven't visited yet... However, the house seems to include all essential features one could wish for. Being a mage not keen on crafting or alchemy I even more appreciate the beautiful bedroom - something few Skyrim house-mods "get right".

On the other hand: The dissonance of entering what obviously - and without ANY doubt - must be a location deep below earth's surface, and then, on getting in further, arriving in HUGE rooms with BIG windows, "floating" in the sky ... is really a grave problem, in my opinion.

really love the house like many others,

BUT... this mod makes my game crash upon entering breezehome(not tested with other homes). this has also been stated somewhere in the comments below if memory serves.

the "outside" windows really are just blue/white spaces wich you can fall in. so a suggestion on that part: build the house in a cave or something OR, just use walls

I love this house so much, the open windows, the spectacular entrance, the library...

When running through BOSS you receive the following...

Warning: This file contains 2 deleted NavMesh records that TES5Edit cannot repair automatically and it may cause problems with your game. NavMesh deletions should be reported to the mod author. A guide to repairing NavMesh deletions with TES5Edit is located here.

I have no idea if this is a serious problem but I do know that I had consistant crashes upon entering Suncrest when another mods config file includes
    [General]
    iLargeIntRefCount=999999
(Like the other house mod Solace)
In that case I found the problem could be remedied by removing the small config file entirely.

This is a fantastic and unique house mod I hope it one day gets an update on these issues by someone.
