Great job, but why is it an .esp file? To my knowledge, the retextures are just texture files, thus removing them is always safe, but that .esp file somehow seems a bit scary to me. Are there any scripts in this mod?
I know this is months later so won't be relevant to you but for anyone reading in the future and somehow concerned because of your comment- the .esp is just a dummy directing the game to the bsa file and totally harmless, extract the bsa if you want to ignore the .esp and are installing manually, deactivate the plugin if using MO (or let MO unpack the bsa and then remove the .esp afterward).
AWESOME retexture! I finally feel like I can be a badass in dragonscale armor now. FYI guys, this also goes REALLY well with the masks from the Apophysis dragon priest mask retexture. Especially Konahrik, imo. Thanks for this mod! 100% endorsed.
Would you please consider making this as stand alone? I know this mod hasnt been given the attention it deserves, but i believe if you would retexture all dragonbone armors/weapons and get them as standalone like your awesome armor of boethia, it would rise to the top of armor mods. Pinky promise.
How does this not have more endorsements? Especially for being so old! It's great. I found this through your insanely amazing Boethiah Ritual Armor. Would love to see you do more stuff!
To everyone who has the issue of only the body piece appearing:
I have had this mod for ages and love it. I recently get the new Skyrim HD - 2K Textures. It is the 'Misc' file that causes the problem. You can still use the HD textures. Just download the zip manually and unzip (the Skyrim HD - 2K Textures - Misc one) and go in to texture->armor and remove dragonscale. Go back and right-click 'texture' and add to archive(assuming you have winrar). Press "add mod from file" in NMM and find the new zip (or rar, whatever) and activate as usual. And now it works!

I loved this retexture in Oldrim and would love an SE version. Especially if it is standalone.

On a side note, these textures automatically get applied to the vampire lord armor created by Grimoa: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29085/?
It looks awesome: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/29085-0-1465713618.png
Thanks anyway for the work you did already.
