XxAwesome_PotionsxX makes potions look magical, but it isn't compatible with Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul (in fact, the result of using the two together is actually rather yuck: the potions are standard CACO shape, but greyscale). So, this patch merges the effects, names, and prices of CACO with the pretty graphics of xAPx.
I know kryptopyr has a Patch Hub for SSE that includes an XxAwesome PotionsxX_CACO patch that says it was ported from LE, but I can't find the original LE patch, so rather than attempting to backport (a risky prospect) I just made a new one. It only changes the items that the original xAPx changed; things it didn't touch are also untouched. The only thing that's not xAPx style are the player-made potions and poisons; these are in the style of CACO, with generic filling, because I thought that was nicer to look at than a terracotta flask.
I may experiment with different filling styles of player-made potions/poisons, or with assigning xAPx styles to other CACO potions, but for now, enjoy this patch as it is.
INSTALLATION Install WM303's FF, CACO, xAPx, and this patch, in that order. Use a mod manager, as while this patch is just one .esp file, the requirements have multiple folders and no one wants to chase them all down.
