Uploaded version 1.1 of this bow. I re-rigged the mesh for proper bending, and string placement during animations. Also adjusted lighting properties some.
Glad you like it. They are made because I personally want them in my game, and personally like the design. They are shared because that's just how I am. Would be a shame, and selfish to not let others enjoy them too. Also gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when I can do something that puts a smile on someone's face. I'm more of a weapons guy than clothing or armor. I do know how to rig, and I can model but mostly play in first person so only really see armor/ clothing during cut scenes (mining, crafting, kill cam). If I come across an armor I really need to have in my game I'll make it, and it would be shared. So far though I have found wonderful clothing and armors made and shared by very talented artists here on the Nexus so I haven't needed to. For instance my character is currently rockin the Lily armor by Pottoply. What a fantastic, unique mash up for a woodland warrior. Maybe instead of tracking one or two of your mods I should just track you for new mods you make and update ?
What about the armor ? {Thranduils armor, Haldir's armor, Mirkwood elves armor ? what about the mirkwood bow and arrows ?}

Though personally I DID try out the galadrim gear, the only good stuff I liked was the arrows
