May I suggest something? The Dwemers...were NOT dwarves. Please....make them larger. They were normal sized...otherwise their armors would never fit other races. There was one Dwemer ghost in Morrowind...and three of Dwemer ghosts in Skyrim. During the quest "No Stones Unturned" you have to fight them. They are almost as tall as the high elves. The name dwarves were given by giants. Thank you
Well, most of players don't know or don't interesting on this No Stones Unturned quest, so most of players don't meet 3 Dwemer ghosts in Skyrim (include me) .
as some people have said, they where basically high elves, this is totally wrong, they where in no way shape or form high elves, in fact if you read the books especially the one which gives Vivec's account of history, he says that Dwemer was actually one of the great houses of the Dunmer, House Dwemer, so I would actually put them as looking more like the pre-cursed Dunmer, so similar only to the high elves in that they had a golden skin tone, but it is a much more rich colour, such as that of Lord Vivec's non cursed side, also they would be Dunmer sized. though it begs the question, if a Dwemer was to survive the removed of their house from existence, would they also of suffered from the same curse which azure beset upon the Dunmer? oh and yes the males mostly had beards, and some got quite over weight, like the kinda lure unfriendly last surviving Dwemer that Bethesda added to Morrowind, though I guess they got away with breaking their own lure on how it should look by tuning it into a kind of cyborg, thought it still should of of been effected by the curse. Hope this helps people who don't read the books in the ES games to understand more about the Dwemer, also a tip read the ones in Skyrim if you want to know what actually happened to them, because yes the answers are all in there.
You forgot that Dunmer is a former Altmer faction called Chimer, Azura cursed Chimer and turn them to Dunmer, while Dwemer is disappear at the battle of Red Mountain. Dwemer can't be a house of Dunmer because they disappear before Dunmer appear, lolz. If I don't remember wrong, House Dwemer is a house of Chimer-Dwemer alliance.
if you are looking for this race to be lore friendly the dwemer were the same size as the human races (nords imperials red guards) they where not smaller, look it up in the lore or just watch the elder scrolls lore series chapter 7 (here is the link for people to lazy to search it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK-WXrOhoHU)
