    So is this mod only for two-handed warriors? I play a sneaky archer and generally don't have two-handed swords equipped. Do I have to equip it only for the first talk or will it talk  and work only if equipped and used in combat?

      The Machine will convert it (once per day) to Short Sword, Dagger, Bow etc...

      Yes, it only talks when equipped.

      Yes, LpoolGaz is correct, while Bafungram starts out as a two handed sword a second location contains a machine which can be used to change his form. He does prefer to be something big and double handed, so he may whinge a little about being turned into a dagger or bow.

      I'm afraid so, I did have plans for further developments, but moved onto other games before getting that far. So the mod consists of two dungeons and a magical talking sword which can have its form changed.

    Downloaded version 2.5d this morning and started the mod.  I was able to go through the first cave and kill nixie and free the prisoner, but he would not respond to me (he had the quest marker above his head).  I checked the quest stage and it was still set at 30.  I did a setstage to 40 and that completed the 1st quest, but he would still not respond to me.  From reading this forum, I assume he is supposed to ran off to the Bannered Mare, but he just stays in the cave.

    Have uninstalled the mod for now.

    Ok, after the above post, I looked a little further in the thread and decided to close and restart Skyrim and that fixed the issue.  Was able to meet and talk to Urollo at the Bannered Mare and start the 2nd quest.

      Glad you got the issue sorted (good old turn off and back on again). I'm guessing that a script got stuck. I'm playing a lot of Fallout 4 now (basically the same engine) and I'm seeing a lot more of how scripts can get backed up with it.

      Same thing here, only I just Saved + Reloaded --- then he spoke + run off.

    Played the first part with no issues. LOVE the sword. lol
    Now, I'm getting the dreaded Whiterun crash. *sigh* CTD every time I try to enter the Bannered Mare.
    Doesn't look like I'll be able to finish the quest.

    There was great fun had during the first part so, that's something.
    Is it possible to obtain the setstage code?

    It was so much fun! Is it wrong to fall in love with a sword?? If it's wrong, I don't wanna be right. haha
    He is very funny and that accent? *swoons* lol

    Hello,

    I played out the first location but didn't get any quest/markers or anything for a second. I read all the journals and I spoke with the 'prisoner' but he only had one line about mead waiting for him that he kept repeating. Wondering if I missed something...

      Looks like a script went AWOL during the packing process. I'm on it now, should be an update soon.

      Yes, a few loose script files had been missed from the last upload. Everything should now be packed correctly in the new file. Urullo's dialogue should now progress to him running off to the Bannered Mare and then giving you the next section of the quest.

      Hmm, did a new play through of the mine and now he doesn't say anything at all.

      EDIT: I saved, quit to desktop and restarted and he spoke to me. Ahh, Skyrim,..

      Thanks for the feedback spaven. Glad it worked out for you. I'm in the process of tuning up the scripts and conditions, so will take a look to see if there's a way of making him less prone to engine failures.

    Where's the key for locked door after pillar puzzle?

    Seems the game bugged for me. No ghosts on lower level.

      There's no key. The ghosts, doors and dialogue in that section are controlled by scripts that trigger when you move through invisible boxes. Which version are you using? You didn't skip anything using console commands I assume?

      version 2.5c according to vortex and i don't use any console command.

      Btw is there no quest journal?

      That does sound really odd. Sounds like your missing some of the scripts. Do you have the (ndc)idemdallsfolly.bsa file in your data folder? It's been working okay for others (unless anyone needs to report something), but I'll have a comb through the files in the morning to check if anything could be missing.

      Some of the pathing in the bsa looks wrong, so I'm uploading a new version. Updating for the basic and SE versions may have confused things.

      Just feedback.
      I tried the first version and ghosts attack me after enter the main chamber but downstairs was empty and the urn useless.
      Then I tried the second update and downstairs was empty aswell but this time without that beautiful voice.
      So, both times stucked in the stream.

      Thanks for the feedback Gargolon. Sorry to hear it's causing you problems. Complications in packing up the bsa at various points have meant that all the right script parts weren't always accessible (may just stick to loose files like SE requires next time). If the current version isn't working for you, I'd try making sure the cell is reloaded by heading out and back in again. Failing that it may require restarting the mod, ideally going back to a save before entering the mine, or disable-save-enable.

      Thank you, I will try new version and see what happens. I cleaned all up, reinstall everything, fresh gameplay starts today. Ideal to give a new try to your mod.

      PD: Ok, after around 20 tryouts I give up, constant CTD in the first scene or just after. NPCs sometimes pop up sometimes they dont.
      I will wait for an update.
