Ah, I remember when this mod was taken down because of real world American politics in 2016. Way to throw a hissy fit. Hopefully some bugs were fixed that wrecked the quest line since then.

"Thanks for ruining hours of progress you piece of crap mod."

So from this, we can assume you installed this mid-run? As in, you didn't start a new game?

    From the description page..
    "DIVERSITY DAY

The Empire in Skyrim is about to get hit with a lawsuit. The stormcloaks too, for that matter. See, in
order to join the imperials or the stormcloaks, apparently, you have to
be a white male. THAT'S DISCRIMINATION AND WE DON'T HAVE TO STAND FOR
IT. This feature adds new lore-friendly(I think, we can debate this)
soldiers that aren't just white dudes. This also enhances the variety of
soldier types, running the gamut from mages to rogues to wolves. Two of
the soldier types for the stormcloak army sport entirely new skins,
courtesy of LifesToRock, the amazingly awesomely awesome creator of Skyrim Immersive Creatures. So thank him and enjoy the diversity. Or we can just wait for the class action to come in, and WE'LL BE ROLLING IN DOUGH."

    So misguided.. -.-

With imperials you could argue this or that about their army reforms and conscription laws, but the stormcloaks? The Stormcloaks are literally a Nord/Skyrim nationalist/xenophobic uprising, why the hell would they have non-nords or non-men? lol.
Glad this is back on the Nexus though. Excellent piece of TES Modding history here.

Because those non-nords and non-men don't like the imperials. You do realize that there were female stormcloaks in the vanilla version of the game right? Women can have positions of power in skyrim. ALso, they do allow non-nords to join. My character was a redguard stormcloak in the vanilla version.

as @Dovanado said, women can join Stormcloaks and Dovahkiin can also join no matter what his/her race is. And an Imperial farmer (sylvian) wants to join them as well. However, they don't do a lot of PR things to reach other races for war efforts in vanilla Skyrim.
edit2 and according to the lore, the Legion accept most Tamrielic races. You get Moth gro-BagolGhorza gra-BagolGhorbash the Iron Hand, and Ghunzul as retired Orc Legionnaries.
the meta reason for final version is to simplify things : Stormcloaks has two kind of actors for their soldier male Nord and female Nord. Meanwhile, Imperial Legion has three kinds of actor for their random soldier by race : Nord, Imperial (race), and Breton. the only girls are (officers in essence) Legate Rikke and the Legion Captain in Helgen. Yes, just those two as far as I know. There is also an Altmer officer in Rift Hold who served Legion for more than 140 years.

      Edit2:
Lexmax have a point about the 'diversity quota', though.
I think it is more about political climate in Tamriel after Great War. Summerset Isle/Alinor, Elsweyr, and Valenwood are under hostile regime who despise dissidents and isn't reluctant to kill them so most Altmer, Khajiit, and Bosmer dissidents either on the run, hiding, joined resistance movements, and few in the Legion are those who joined before the Great War happened. And fewer are the Altmeri, Khajiiti, and Bosmeri legionnaires who are  stationed in Skyrim as General Tullius said most legions are stationed near Empire-Dominion borders.
Hammerfell, Morrowind, and Black Marsh are practically independent and their relationship with Empire not always warm as they gained independence in the first place after Empire pulled out their legions when things gone to toilet. So, soldiers feom there are more possible from Dominion-controlled provinces.

Before downloading it, is there a way to disable the diversity thing? I just like the mod and me being a non american I personally find the race thing extremely unimmersive and political.

You're right to think it's political and not lore friendly.

CWO pushed too many agendas and it was rather annoying. I'm sticking with Open Civil War. That itself actually works.

How is it unnimersive? Skrim is home to a variety of different races, and there are canonical examples of non-nords joining the  imperials. The stormcloaks allowed non-nords to join in the vanilla version of the game as well, me being a Redguard in the vanilla game didnt stop me from joining the stormcloaks. The game even says that the stormcloaks don't ban non-norrds from joining. Why are you complaining about things being political when the whole questline is about politics?

i am using Skyrim Unbound Mod to start game by directly skipping first part (the alduin-empire-ulfric scene) which starts MISC quest "Join The Imperial/Stormcloak Legion". I have settings of  Dragons to "Disabled" and want to enable only when i will start dovahkiin missions by absorbing dragon souls.

I have also used Timing is Everything Mod to delay a lot of things, mainly, Dragon spawns which is set to a setting where there are no dragon spawns. I intend to change it too once I start dovahkiin missions.

The question is about compatibility. "Party Crashers" feature of this mod says there will be dragons attacking anyone, meaning it needs to be killed. I dont want these dragon attacks feature. Is there a way to disable that specifically?
Last time I checked, Killing dragons with setting being disabled rendered a dragon quite mosaic and in very mood-spoiling way.

Second Question of compatibility after dragons is that, Skyrim Unbound starts quest of Civil War later in game when Player Opts. Does that mean I can start game Midway?

Having trouble with reporting to Legate Cipius, I tried "cwoapollofixme 10", I also tried reloading from a save where I haven't joined Imperials yet, tried making couple of new saves, gone through the main questline first before doing the civil war. Still nothing, if anyone has a fix for this please help. I don't want to uninstall this mod as it has become one of my essential mods.

My only guess is this is not compatible with Requiem, because Loot keeps saying "there should be a compatibly patch in order for this mod to work properly with Requiem, but none is available at the moment."
