I ported this to sse and it kept crashing my game, I did something wrong I guess. Anyone who ported this to sse and it's crash free please drop the link.
What could cause the "Potatofication" of the Candlehearth Hall Patron? Although it is probably caused by the conversion to Special Edition, but how could I fix that?
From the front page "For potato head or black face bug make sure you installed both mods in the right order. Replacer must be AFTER original one. Install Inconsequential NPCs original file first, then overwrite it with mine. My plugin also should placed after original file." HTH
Well of course I've installed it in that order. I've been using my port of Inconsequential NPCs in Special Edition for years. All other NPCs I've met so far look as they should it was just the one, that's why I've asked. It is not that big of a problem, I've just console equipped her a KS Hairdos HDT wig (Special Edition) and she now looks better than ever.
I'm having the same issue too, I've ported and cleaned the mesh models. It's just that ONE NPC. All the other NPC looks great. For me, she is messing the hair texture. and her hair is blue. I can't seem to fix this problem. Let me know if you fixed it.
Because I don't want to further elongate the already long sticky about the converting... What is the name of the nif model used by the patron? To answer my own question, it is Orianna, but does both Orianna nifs need this treatment?
Oh ok, I tried the hair meshes without any effect. This did the trick.
This is the only NPC which who needs this special treatment? Maybe add the facegen file to the sticky for other SSE users because the mention of the "Candlehearth Hall Patreon's hair" put me on the wrong track, but I might be just a little bit slower than others . Thank you.
Why not just upload a patch for SSE users?? It's kinda silly to expect users to edit it themselves (and most people dont even know how to read the stuff in Nifskope).
For some reason, my Inconsequential NPCs don't look like the pics in the mod page after installing the Inconsequential NPCs Visual Overhaul...

The mod IS being applied, I tried running it without the Visual Overhaul and they look even uglier. Everything is different, the lips, the eyes, even the nose. Any suggestion?
PSA: If y'all are having trouble or dont want to bother with NIFscope, you can just delete the Windhelm Patron appearance change from this mod with Xedit. It'll keep her vanilla look.
Has anyone successfully ported this mod to SSE? I tried the sticky msg, but when run through creation kit, I got many tangent problems (which would cause ctd problems)
You can ignore the errors in Creation Kit. If you're seeing errors in SSEEdit, it might be because Creation Kit removed Inconsequential NPCs.esp as the master file. You have to first make Inconsequential NPCs.esp into a false ESM-flagged ESP which means you're giving it an internal flag that tells the game and Creation Kit that it is an ESM master file. Save and exit SSEEdit. Once you do this, open Creation Kit and re-save the plugin from Sorca's (lovely) visual overhaul mod again, this time it will resave correctly with no errors. You can now remove the ESM flag from Inconsequential NPCs.esp, save and exit.
I got it ported to SSE succesfully but Orianna's hair keeps displaying a lack of texture despite running it through nifskope to remove the soft and back lighting. Is there something I am missing? Edit: FINALLY GOT IT WORKING, THANKS SORCA97!

I'm using Rudy ENB.
Please help, Thanks.
On a serious note tho I never found a need for any NPC overhaul for males. they look decent as it is. You don't think?
Edit: FINALLY GOT IT WORKING, THANKS SORCA97!
