How to add the preset to Lydia?
I mean, if I use showracemenu, that lets me add the preset to my character but not Lydia. Sorry, new to modding

This is a preset for your character based on his Lydia replacer. If you want to use this for Lydia, you should download the replacer one on the description tab.

    Racemenu presets aren't CBBE.

I usually get a neck seam if I try and use a racemenu preset that wasnt created using the same body I use. Just my experience. So would rather state I used CBBE body when preset was made so I don’t get the inevitable “why is there a neck seam?”

That would be more accurate. I've never seen anybody listing their character preset as CBBE when it's a Bodyslide type, not facial sculpture. Neck seams usually result on the user side with mods that aren't supposed to be used together, ENB and lighting sometimes but certainly not bodytype.

It actually DOES make a difference. Try using a preset that was made with a CBBE body on a UNP based character and its going to look really off. The settings are different and you will notice the difference. You might get it to work but it won't look right. You should also specify which race the preset was made on .. that will make a difference too.

That's cool, glad it works fine on other body types. Was just going by my own experience when switching to UNP from CBBE and using older presets I had made when using CBBE body. Had a visible gap at either sides of the neck where it connected to the shoulder. Was only small granted, but wasn't something I wanted to live with. That was a good while back now, so perhaps no longer an issue. Or perhaps was never any issue, just specific to me. Either way, pleased to know it works well with other body types.
Thanks for uploading the image as evidence.

This means there's no reason to call it CBBE, since it mistakenly gives people the wrong idea.
