Thanks you for this, a must have mod for us "realism freaks". I think i may be running into a problem though - I don't see anymore those `you ran 1000 steps...` or whatever messages, thus i cannot loose weight in any other way than not eating and sleeping a lot. Is this intended, or did a functionality break?
so i have descovered a quest titled "loss weight quest" or something like that by opening up the console and typing in "help weight" and it showed up, idk if that's a part of the mod or not, but how does one activate this quest, i've tried using the console to do that and i don't think it's working. mind helping me out?
Is it at all feasible to only get the Check Weight spell without the extra bells and whistles of this mod? Or, I'unno, turn the weight into a SkyUI widget?
jonsangels first off man thanks for making a mod like this. For now I use WeightMorphs SE for CBBE, but a mod like this would definitely be a big welcome. Heck I'd make a mod like this if I had better knowledge of how to mod Skyrim, unfortunately my modding skills in CreationKit aren't that great. Tried making mods for FO4 and had a heck of a time making sense of it. I'll await whenever you release iNeed Dynamic Weight for SE with happy anticipation. Don't really understand the other poster who said it was fat shaming to make a mod like this really though. What if IRL you ARE fat and want a character that looks like you? Not everyone thinks fat is ugly, or unappealing.
Any chance of this becoming configurable in the future? I'd like to be able to turn the weight feature on/off as needed, resulting in the character returning to the weight set in Racemenu... And maybe be able to set how fast/slow the character gains/loses weight? That way I can, for example, let a character lose weight really fast while rotting in prison, but stay a healthier weight when getting more food/exercise.
Edit: I gotta say though, even without personalization, this works really well. She gains weight faster than she loses it (which I like, since I prefer her weight at the max), and at least the weight loss is actually noticeable. RND's weight feature seemed to move at a snail's pace no matter what settings I used... Granted, it seems like it would take a month or so of not eating a bite to get from 100 to 0 weight in this mod, but that's still better... And at least there are spells to set her weight. ;)
My apologies, I am not sure of what you meant. If you are referring to how it also alters the loot of slain creatures, that is not possible. If anything, altering the loot actually compliments very well with the concept of the mod; because, it now tempts the player with abundance of fattening meat. It's also much more realistic, since a single deer should provide more than one piece of venison and single antler, rather than amethyst and five septims.
yes, that's what I meant. I don't disagree that it makes perfect sense, I was just asking from a technical point of view since there are several mods that change creature's loot and I suppose this makes them incompatible. I guess it's a pick your choice case ^^
