It is an absolute travesty that the fomod info.xml error has not been handled in NMM. I noticed you posted about it on their forum sometime in September 2020. Can't really switch the manager after installing over 500 mods. Your work looks beautiful and I truly hope I can experience it in-game one day!
EDIT: If anyone is interested, I fixed it by downloading the mod manually, unpacking it, deleting the "info.xml" file from the "fomod" folder and replacing it with an empty folder named "info.xml". I then manually added the mod to NMM and activated it there, whereupon it casually ran the FOMOD setup... Whatever works, I guess. Love your mod!!
I am sooo glad you brought this mod back. It was my favorite...beautiful, striking eyes and compatible with everything. Was very happy when I found it again in 2021. Very appreciated!!!
Fix the installer Fomod gives the error /AppData/Local/Temp//fomod/info.xml I install via Mod Organizer 2 of the latest version. The mod itself is great. P.S. Sorry for my English this is not my native language.
About the FOMOD issues people are having; I noticed in the error dialog the path to the file said this:
"Failed to parse "..."(my directories)/AppData/Local/Temp//fomod/info.xml"
The error might arise from the two slashes in between "Temp" and "fomod". Feel free to let me know if that's how it's supposed to be. I was able to install the mod with MO2 anyways afterwards.
Hey, do you use an ENB? These eyes are gorgeous in game but I cannot get the browns/ambers to look as dark and rich as the screenshots. I don't use an ENB.
i keep getting the "Error parsing FOMOD Info.xml file" on NMM 0.72.1, i thought it was just a bad download but even after re downloading it the same error still showed itself, please somebody help me with this
I used this mod ages ago, and I'm glad to see it back! :D I especially like the purple eyes for vampires. One issue--using MO Classic, I get the error "none of the installer plugins were able to handle that archive". I got the same result with both trying it manually and with the mod manager, no luck.
EDIT: So I switched to MO2 (finally), and it installed just fine. So whatever the problem was, it was with MO1 (which isn't even supported anymore). The eyes are absolutely gorgeous in-game! :D
