I really enjoy the changes you have done while playing my game. I have a request; Could you please make your Stalhrim weapon meshes compatible with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87918?tab=description
yeah i would love to see your meshes with transparent and refracting option for glass weapons and stalhrim like these mods by skysan https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29123 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53067
Nice mod ,can you include forsworn war axe and unique battleaxes like wuuthrad, rueful axe and war hammer like volendrug and champion's cudgel and any if I miss
Niiice. These are finally starting to look like practical weapons instead of silly Final Fantasy cartoon stuff designed by people who don't understand mass and other basic physics concepts.
Please do this with warhammers and other over-sized weapons. Some of the greatswords, for example, are also impractical.
PS: I think I would have kept some of the spikes on the backs of these (which serve both as counter-weights and as back-swing weapons, plus (in reality, not in present game mechanics) as hooks for grabbing shields, etc. Not every real-world long weapon was only usable in one way. And maybe also keep the double-blade look on a couple of them (just for style). I really liked the "flower of death" shape of one of the glass axes. Also the weird bat-like shape of one of the others (daedric, I think). But overall, I would rather install this entire mod as-is than not use it due to those two items.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep it in mind. You make a good case for the spikes, I was just worried they might poke someone in the eye. Kidding, sorry.
I have no immediate plans to expand to other weapons, but we'll see.
"I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took my own axe-spike to the eye."
Anyway, the warhammers need this treatment perhaps most of all, because real-world warhammers looked more like most of what is shown here: https://www.google.com/search?q=real+medieval+warhammers&tbm=isch - not huge-headed mattocks of metal.
Well, I went ahead and made a warhammer pack. However, after some consideration I decided to put it in a separate mod. You can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/102801
Does this mod also make the axes slimmer when looked at from top/bottom/directly at the blade whatever it may be expect for directly at the side lol, cause I know that real axes are very thin, not giant hunks of metal with the blade being a 45 degree triangle. Also I do agree with others about putting spikes back on some of the axes and a few other’s keeping double bladed, I just can’t get used to the iron battle axe with no spike on it lol
And you may be happy to see the return of some spikes in the latest update. Not iron battleaxe though, I'm very happy with the current look on that one (inspired by the iconic Dane axe).
I can't overstate how pleased I am with this mod. Over the years, I have laboriously replaced the vanilla "cow tools" with meshes from many different mods, often both the textures and nifs were more load than I wanted to have for NPC weapons, but I simply couldn't stand the originals.
This mod fixes the clumsy, overscaled and overly stupid minor cosmetics of vanilla and still keeps the original " Skyrim feel" of them. I will revert back to my old Orcish replacers, no fault of yours, the vanilla Orc style is simply irredeemable even though yours are a vast improvement.

Hear, hear!
JG1 has bestowed greatswords upon our mortal game.
Seriously though, I don't know what to do about it. If I get some good ideas, maybe I'll add it. But probably not.

As a funny aside, when I googled for images of real medieval warhammers, the fifth image that popped up was of the steel warhammer from Skyrim.

Very well done, the best yet IMO.
Thank you great work!
