After installing this mod, I found an un-killable sheep on Pelagia farm. May I know if there's any purpose it holds? I'm only expecting cheeses from this mod!
I don't know if I like the implementation, but the mod itself is great. For instance.
- Why are slices, sliced and wheel cheeses three separate items, which all have to be collected independently? Why not have them all tick off a single entry, so the player collects every kind of cheese in Skyrim, not every item defined as cheese in the creation kit (because there is a difference and it is noticeable). It just seems really weird to me that I've collected a particular kind of cheese, but I also need to collect that same kind of cheese two more times for no apparent reason.
- Why do vanilla cheeses not count? Goat, Eidar, Mammoth, etc. These really be a part of the quest, despite being so ubiquitous.
Love the mod, but these two points are really messing with my immersion. Please don't say "it's sheogorath". That'd be a pretty cheap response.
Lol took the words right out of my...keyboard. Sheogorath...thats why. Its not like sheogorath was ever there to help the immersion in TES hes a madman so of course the mod will be mad aswell.
But isn't the Sheogorath in Skyrim the player character from Oblivion? He's only been the mad god for 200~ years, whereas the one from all the other games has been the mad god since the beginning. Would they both be equally as crazy just because they're both the mad god?
A delicious mod that has greatly aided my immersion. Quick question though: What the f*#@ is the Ratway Cheese based on, if anything? It makes my skin crawl when I look at it.
The voice acting for Sheogorath isn't "spot on" in my opinion, but it is a decent impression. I love the mod, and the nod to his Oblivion Daedric quest with the cheese is great. The only issues I have are that I don't like how sliced versions of the cheeses count separately, because it makes it hard for me to remember if I already have that one when buying because the word sliced is added to the beginning.
Maybe you could add a feature where the game puts a check mark next to the names of cheeses you already have. I know there's a file in the download, but it would be nice if the game did it for me, so I don't have to Alt+Tab each time I find a new cheese. Lastly, over 200 varieties seems a little excessive to me personally. If you're going to have that much, maybe make it so Sheo pops in after every 10 or 15 cheeses you find to give you a smaller reward.
Other than that, though, this mod is great and a lot more fun than the vanilla Sheo quest.

Mod is fantastically fun. And the voice acting is perfect.
