Thanks for the great simple mod. Nice to finally see female Imperial Guards and Soldiers among the males.

I fixed the posted "Stormcloack bug" for myself correcting the one NPC entry that still had incorrect Stormcloak factions/clothing/template as well as removing the "opposite gender animation" setting from all that makes females move about as males.
Just overwrite the esp with this one below.

So did you convert existing male guards in the leveled lists to females. or did you create new female characters and add them to the leveled lists?

Initially I simply changed the male guards but then ended up with bearded ladies!!
I converted Imperial Bandit females. Changed voice tag to female Nord, and edited faces to my liking. Note on voices: For some reason using other voices such as female soldier and female commander I ended up with silent characters so I defaulted to the Nord voice.
Then I changed the "Traits" at bottom left of "Template Data" as follows
      Female Guard = EncGuardImperialTemplate
      Female Soldiers = EncSoldierImperialTemplate
These options appear to automatically update sections such as Inventory, Faction listing etc..
Guards were then copied to LCharGuardImperial and soldiers to LCharSoldierImperial lists.
Things I had to watch out for
Guards - check Respawn option and uncheck Use Base Data option
Soldiers - the reverse, uncheck Respawn option and check Use Base Data option.
Finally - you must work within the Actor folder, and I pressed <ctr><F4> on each character every time I touched them, otherwise without fail I ended up with brown faces. Also, for me, the <ctr><F4> did not take effect if I worked from the "All" folder.
Trust this helps - I am by no means technically competent and this was a great trial and error process
