well supertin have seen my pm and didn't give me a response so i think he will not give me permission so i think there will be no update and we have to stick to guide sorry guys
well it's look like there is been an update for C.R.A.P and chadoyn released version 2, well i think he adds another folder which also cause the player to experience the new idle even in the first person, well i'm not sure because i uses the version 1, anyway u can use this method also on the first person folder and see what happens but i recommend version 1 because i tested it, feel free to tell me your experience if you try version 2 with firstperson folder.
If anyone doesn't want to spend the hour going through the idles in the video like I just did, I posted my summary of these instructions and my own choices in hopefully an easy to read format on reddit, here:
why cant you create it as a patch for Realistic Animation Project which can be installed over it. you don't need permissions from the author to create a patch, only if you are modifying the original mod itself and wanting to re-upload the original mod already modified.
good idea never thought of that but i think if it is gonna be a patch for realistic animation project ,i think i must add some dependency to my patch that making it not work when not using the original mod but if it is ok to make patch that will not require the original mod, then i will make it patch for realistic animation project do you know if it's ok to upload a mod patch that it's not dependence on the original mod?
actually i asked the nexus moderator he/she said if you use any of the files from another author, then you need the author permission, no matter is patch or a mod you want to make
A cool idea would be to have 3 or 4 idle animations per race and gender, played randomly to avoid getting tired of watching the same animation on every imperial or argonian for example. How can you do to randomize various idles for one race?
this guide will also affect custom npcs and vanilla followers based on their race and their gender but if you want only to change the idle animation of single npc, there is guide in DAR description page
thanks I honestly figure it out on my own and was using the DAR so yea. haha. I just can't seem to run the C.R.A.P mod when I want to change an npc animation thats what I'm messing with right now.
there are mods about giving npcs different body types 1- everybodys different, which @wiked provided the link 2- bodytypes of skyrim --->https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40280 3- bodychange -----> https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37546/
