It may be possible to have the animation not play for npcs that have a certain level of frost resistance? This would mean that npcs like Snow Elves Nords, and anyone wearing resist frost gear wouldn't do the animations.
Would it be possible to include the source (psc) for the script file of the mod? I seem to be getting odd animation conflicts with a few mods and want to alter the conditions just a bit, rather than have to give up the idle completely.
This mod is an absolute masterpiece. the animations are perfectly blended into the game. they are subtle, not some sexualized-hip-swinging-model-posing type idles (Divines, thank you!) and the animations themselves are professional quality and obviously were meant to blend seamlessly into the animation style of the game.
this is going to be a permanent part of my Skyrim mods. <3
Is there anyway anyone knows of to make the block rain animation with a shield play nice with Backshield mod? At the moment if the shield is on your back you just hold up an empty arm. which i understand but im kinda bummed out about
See Faq/compatability: "Anything that places the shield somewhere other than the hand: Hand will float over head for shield rain. I recommend ALLGUD (see above) for an AIO solution to adding more items onto your character."
This mod started with amazing idea, but the direction of development is a bit strange. In the previous version, it was implemented only in the idle state, but in the new version, it is implemented only in the moving state. This creates an unnatural situation. Shouldn't both be implemented? There is even an esp file that did not exist in the previous version, but the result is a bit disappointing.
I've experienced this and thought it was an incompatibility with this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/105489? So I tried changing the folder numbers of that mod to be lower than this one. That one still worked, and still overwrote this one. I'll keep testing, but if this is indeed only when moving, I'm rolling back to the old one.
Edit: this mod includes mt_idle files. Which means it has animations for when you're just standing there, so I think should play them. I think something must be conflicting, at least for me.
Edit 2: I take that back, changing priority of the other mod's folders worked, I'd just forgotten to activate my changed version in MO2 and deactivate the default version, lol. Look for other DAR mods that change your idles.
