Yes! Kitteh! I'm sold. PS: Masters cleaning is best done in TES5Edit. It's good for stuff like that. The CK is good for putting objects in the game world and doing quest scripting and stuff, but for editing ESP details, TES5Edit is the right tool for the job.
It's a massive time saver. I never fire up the CK unless I need to add an object to a location, do dialogue/quest stuff, or export a head with Ctrl-F4. Anyway, for this sort of thing, if you right-click on the mod in the left pane, you can pick Sort Masters and Clean Masters, and it should produce what you want (the first one is optional, and just makes sure things are in LOOT order; many modder accidentally get Dawnguard and Dragonborn in reversed load order for some reason). If you find the master you don't want is still listed in File Header, then there is still some reference to the undesired master somewhere in the mod's ESP. Doing Check for Error at the end is good, as is quitting and saving then running TES5Edit in Quick Clean mode (detects and fixes ITR and UDR problems, and navmesh issues I think).
