Nice job! Your work is really great. It makes my game more interesting.
But it`s pity that some Chinese players can`t visit the Nexus. This means they cannot download your work.
So may i have your permission to upload your work to a Chinese website?
address:www.9damaomods.netI just want to share this mod to Chinese player.
    With your name of course.
    Thanks for your work.

Hi, Dyuz, nice looking Dao! I don't know if you're looking for input, but I would suggest scaling the size down somewhat. Or at least scaling down the size of the hilt. It's correct that this is a large weapon, but I think it's a bit too large. That may be why it seems "anime" to Darklocq (comment below).

Alternatively, adding more details to the materials might help keep it from looking like a sword that's been scaled up.

I like the sword and I'm a fan of Asian weapons, especially if they're realistic, so that's where I'm coming from. I hope you'll take this as a constructive comment. Feel free to ignore it if you think I'm out of line.

Well, that and the plasticky texture. There are loads of mods that do things like bring in the giant and cartoonish swords from Final Fantasy, NieR, etc., and I'm sure this will go great with them, but it looks entirely out-of-place in vanilla Skyrim or one modded for realistic stuff.

Thanks you for your feedbacks. You right the 2h ver bit large, for the 1h length ( 1 meter) i think it just suitable in game and i'm not intend to make anime-like weapon.

For the texture, i'm currently struggling with that, i'm only know PBR workflow since skyrim use old workflow (making conversion between 2 workflow may loss details during process or i'm doing wrong way), when bring it to game it looks plasticky like Darklocq mentions below. This look fine from afar but sh*t when come closer like 1st person view.

      I'll retex this soon,

The screenshot may be confused to you guy since i'm holding 2H version and use pose to screenshot :))

Right-o. I have some texture-tweaking experience, but it sounds like you know what you're doing. I think I would just grab some metal from some vanilla weapon, but if you want higher res than that, I've found that the author of aMidianBorn is amenable to requests to reuse his textures in new mods. I'm using one of his chainmail textures in an "Heirloom Nordic Mail" outfit I'm making for a follower. Another option is getting a metal photo from Commons.Wikimedia.org; they have a lot of photographic resources and some are pretty high-resolution.
