I haven't been modding regularly for a couple years, but I keep looking back at rebooting this mod and maybe changing direction. I ended up trying to do too much with the storyline and I'm not that great with Papyrus - was trying to set up some major battles and king of the hill type objectives but I'm more skilled at level design than I am with scripting so I hit a lot of roadblocks. I would need to reach out to the voice actors who may not even be involved with Skyrim mods anymore, and that would mean re-casting the voice acting and essentially starting from scratch. The necklace quest also had problems that I could never figure out (I never had them on my end but there are reports from others that this side-quest was broken) so that may need to be replaced as well...
Downloaded it today and like what it has to offer so far. The only problem I’m having is when you get the quest to find the necklace on the boat it keeps sending me in and out of the door and I can’t find Lynette’s mother’s necklace.
Oh yeh there might've been a dialogue left in there referring to it as a necklace, that was originally the plan but I changed it to a circlet (will fix that dialogue) called the Emerald Circlet. Shouldn't be too hard to spot inside the shipwreck.
I gave this a shot yesterday and I really like what you've got so far. The custom voices are excellent, especially Lynnette's imo. The island's landscape is really well done. Just a couple of things to note (nothing serious or considered buggy) - the volume of voices for all the male characters are a bit low, and when I fast travel to the main area (Fishing something), my character will always land on the well's beam. Not sure if that's intentional but it doesn't bother me, just thought it's kinda funny. I really look forward to your future updates.
