I am really looking forward to the whole combat revamp.
I have for some time now been trying to build my game around no freebee Health and mana regen, but it has been difficult to find a good way to do it.
Just rebuilding Bash patch before trying this, but from what I see in TES5Edit it looks like you stop regen by changing the Rates in the races to 0 (or .1 - .15 depending on certain races)
Won't that make any regen potions/items basically useless? Because those items impact RateMult and with no Rate to "Mult" it won't do anything at all.
Kind of un-immersive for all those items to suddenly be nothing more than "clutter"
Yes that's a consequence, I was thinking about finding a way to replace these effects by a reduction of the spell costs (like the Sarthaak amulet) and it will be done at some point. Not my priority right now
The problem is not to find a solution but to apply it. I'd need to modify every enchantment and magic effect, and, it won't be compatible with mods that use special enchantment if I do that so I don't have a perfect solution atm
