Improved Butterflies is an edit to the wonderful mod, Butterfliegen by Conquestus with permission. I worked on the mod for a week straight before I was happy enough with a release. What I did; I changed a few things to make it more compatible with other mods and Skyrim in general, removed the rogue edits and edits that did not make sense, removed some formlists and added new ones. Added the meshes and textures that were missing from the English file, made bug jars for all of the bugs and spiders that were missing them, removed the edits that could be replaced and replaced them, Changed the file to ESM flagged so that the patches would work with it,  changed some words back to English (a few times) made edits to the cell with the bug king shrine, added two new spiders, added some new spawn activators to Skyrim to compensate for the removal of edits to vanilla form lists, and a few other things I've forgotten. I hope my edits don't change the feel of the mod too much. While the original mod is open permission, my meshes, edits, and textures are not. 

Sorry, there is no German updated file at this time. If somebody wants to forward the edits for me I will be happy to upload them here.

This mod adds several new insects to Skyrim, to catch and use for "science" (alchemy). Later I plan to add many more and different kinds of bugs (not these kinds of "bugs" you may imagine), but I have to see how far it goes. And for the collectors, I plan to add for every single insect, an insect in a jar to Skyrim's interesting places.

If you want to use it for your own mod, feel free to use my modified textures and meshes. And if you want to translate it into your favorite language by yourself, you have my permission too.

To install, just extract the .rar into this folder: ...\skyrim\data
then check if it's activated in the Skyrim launcher
