I tried to avoid this mod to keep from stacking too many for just aesthetics, but I ended up trying it anyway. Ended up breaking my game. I can't select female characters anymore. I uninstalled and deleted it from my harddrive, along with any mod it related to, reinstalled Skyrim, but still have this issue. I can't find anyone that has any resolutions I havn't already tried: precache killer, racemenu, only disabling apachiihair, etc. Nothing works. I'm ditching all my aesthetic improvement mods, and reinstalling everything else.
Had pretty much the same issue with 1.5. Went to make a new character, swap the toggle to female, have about a minute delay then CTD. No other hair mods, no looks mods aside from CBBE and no errors showing up in LOOT. Here is what i have found. Can make a new female with 1.5 disabled, save and exit. Then re-enable 1.5 load save then "showracemenu" with the console. Takes about a minute for it to process but once it pops up all the hairstyles are there. Can also "showracemenu" on an existing character just fine with the same results but with one exception. Vampires "showracemenu" results in the game locking up on you and still being locked up 5-6 minutes later. Only work around i have come up with for this issue.
I'm having the same problem..everything is up-to-date, I have the ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer thing-a-ma-bob and when I switch to Female in ShowRaceMenu, it crashes It runs fine with ApachiiSkyHair 1.6 but the ApachiiSkyHairFemale 1.5 leads to crashes and I really want to use this mod :'(
I had this issue too. If you have Underground Bathhouse and Paradise Valley mod installed, the ub_apachii_hair.esp plugin asks for the ApachiiHairFemales.esm file. All I did was disable that plugin and everything works fine. If you don't have that mod, go through your plugins or run loot to see where the errors are occurring and disable the plugin that's causing the issue. Hope that works!
Hello! I downloaded ApachiiSkyHair, the standalone for males and the one for females. The one for males and the regular one work just fine, but the ApachiiHairFemale one always crashes. I was wondering if it was because of the high-poly models but I'm not sure maybe I did something wrong.
I'm using SKSE via Steam and all the mods are installed withing the Nexus Mod Manager.
