    I may have a possible fix for some people, I have struggled with the bald head problem for quite some time and all the solutions suggested did not work, i fixed it in the end by removing the Apachiihair.esm from E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data and re Adding it with the textures and mesh files found in the mods' data folder. Basically i just deleted the esm from skyrim and manually downloaded the mod.

    So, I downloaded this, got everything settled in load order, but still no luck. All the files are corrupt or missing (OR i don't even know anymore)

    I have the most updated version of Skyrim, and I have tried with and without the unofficial patches with all the DLC, but no luck. All the hair styles do nothing but leave my character bald. Nothing there. Very sad. Any ideas, or any help?

    (Actually, if anyone has an idea, I can't get any body modifier to work pretty much. CBBE or UNP. Nothing. Ideas?)

      Having an Identical issue, also having the problem with any custom character race, they are just a pair of floating teeth and the base nord body.

      Well, I don't feel so useless now. I tried the temptress and succubus races and they didn't work for me either, but I thought maybe a bug with the races or something. Ma Tera race as well just crashes my Skyrim.

      If you try to install the ApachiSkyHair_v_1_5_full via Skyrim Mod Organizer (v1.0.7) you will get the "No game data on top" error message. According to the Mod Organizer's introduction page it means the mod file structure is wrong. Normally a mod should be packaged with two nested data files like this :
      <data>
      |-> data
      |---> textures
      etc.

      But the Apachi hair comes out like this:
      <data>
      |->ApachiSkyHair_v_1_5_Full
      |->data
      |->meshes
      |->testures
      |->ApachiHair.esm

      Even a manual installation (and with the showracemenu command) will still give you a bald character.
      Use the Skyrim Mod Organizer to get rid of the ApachiSkyHair_v_1_5_Full between the two datas and the mod will work fine.

      Thanks Kohla. That worked perfect for me
      i just draged meshes / textures and the ESM file from Data / data folder out of it.
      <data>
      |->ApachiSkyHair_v_1_5_Full
      |->data
      |->meshes
      |->testures
      |->ApachiHair.esm

    I think my case is different, my character only goes bald when I wear a helmet. Circlet is fine, but the helmet overrides the hair and my character goes bald. Is there a way to make them compatible? My character was able to show her hair under the helmet before installing this.

    edit: woops, didn't read the entire faq, my bad.

    Seriously, this needs far more description in the MO page. I had moved the ESM, but the other files, no. I've been attempting to solve this for days.

    I'm having the same bald problem, and I don't understand what the above me guy is saying.

    Is there any step by step operation?

    EDIT: Figured it out,  I can't seem to delete it, so i dragged them all out of the Apachii folder and unchecked the apachii and data folder.
    (i brought out the files on data too because the root is data already)
