The LE version of this mod is no longer supported. I have completed moved to SE now. If anyone wants to properly backport the patches that are only on SE, feel free to do so. Just credit me.
Using tesedit5 i can edit the mod for add more vanilla quests and perkpoints. My idea is obtain half of the game perks throught questing...making the other half nor available. So you can choose wisely your perks.
Thanks. I'm using Vokrii and without a Mod like this it would have been impossible for me to explore many of the New perks, thanks for this very good contribution to Skyrim
This is a really great addition, though i'm still reluctant to use it, in a sense if it will make my character too OP (my character is not OP by any means, it's just that i tend to role-play a harsh/difficult-oriented modlist, so having too many perk points could potentially negate what i want to achieve here)
Another mod Special Perks from Questing is also great, but some of the perk rewards don't seem to be that useful or relevant in my game
Same here. I play a very hard game (I start off with a max carry weight of 30, all spells/weapons/armors locked until I get the correct perks, all skills start at 1 except for racial bonuses at 6, 1 tenth of the Vanilla leveling speed, just to name a few.) But I also use mods that add a lot more perks, like Ordinator, Vokrii and their respective patches. As such, instead of increasing the perk points I get per level, I rather get them through quests.
Can also add the option to convert dragon souls into perk points as well? I was thinking it would be a great idea for late-game when you have already unlocked every shout available.
This looks great. Can't wait to download and try it out. Some other possible perks for quest could be related to becoming a Thane in the various cities/towns. Like maybe becoming the Thane of Winterhold gives you a perk to resist cold damage a little bit to sort of imply that you've been spending enough time there to get a little more used to the cold. Maybe becoming the Thane of Windhelm lets you do a little more damage to both Nords and High Elves to imply that your character understands the frustration of the Stormcloaks a little more, but also see's how some of them treat the Dark Elves (maybe it could depend on how you respond to the Dark elf being hassled by the two Nords when you first enter). Just thinking out loud.
Speaking of Winterhold, the quest where you solve the murder could give a perk that lets you find a little more gold when looting or something to imply that your perception is higher after being a good detective.
I think this mod does something like that: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/99640
As for my mod, I prefer to stick to perk points, so the player has the choice in which to invest them.
As for Thaneship: This is a tricky one. The player can become Thane of Hold, but when the Hold gets taken by the opposing faction of the Civil War, the player will lose Thaneship AFAIK, but can regain it by doing the Thaneship quest for the opposing faction. This could be exploited and as such, I would prefer not to mess with it.
As for the Civil War: That questline is quite buggy, so I'd rather not touch it, in case I break anything.

Edit: nvm, found a mod that does that.

Anyway, this mod looks great as it is.
