Campfire is required, as you will use the "power" of "create item" to oil your arrows!
INSTRUCTIONS- 1) drop the esp into data (MAKE SURE IT'S VERSION 1.1, VERSION 1.0 HAD A FATAL ERROR (missing master) AND WONT WORK) 2) make sure Oiled Arrows2 plugin is activated in load order 3) in game, when you obtain some troll fat (or spriggan sap), access your "create item" power (CAMPFIRE mod required) to add oil/sap to your arrows.
NOTES- You may notice that spriggans rarely or never drop spriggan sap, but rather "taproot" when killed. Fear not, there is a small amount of spriggan sap contained within the taproot... You can cook the sap out of these taproots if you have at least 3 taproots at a cookpot. OR... If you find (or create at a forge) a "taproot hammer", you can then pound the taproots to extract the sap (using the "create item" power).
Please feel free to comment with any questions, comments, suggestions, criticisms, problems, or anything else on your mind other than politics! :-)
At least one person was unhappy about the Campfire requirement. If I'm not mistaken, Campfire is not technically a "master file" of the mod in the first place, but it was my understanding that the "create item" power in the game is made by (or activated by?) Campfire... I'm not actually 100% sure... but at any rate, there is now a "No Campfire Patch" which can be loaded after the main esp, to allow for creation of oiled arrows at a TANNING RACK, as opposed to using the create item power in game. Load the patch esp after the main Oiled Arrows esp...
No Campfire Patch Notes- *Oil your arrows at a TANNING RACK *There will be no use for a Taproot hammer anymore *Extract sap from taproots only at a COOKPOT
(hopefully I did it right... if anyone tries this patch with campfire absent... please write and let me know how it works! (I'm actually curious as to whether the original version would actually work without campfire also, since it's not actually a required master, but that mod is too engrained in my own game to start experimenting... so if anyone knows or tries it, feedback please!)
OOPS, dont download version 1.0. It has a master file (my own personal overhaul plugin) which is not available. Let me fix this... and will upload corrected plugin shortly!!!
EDIT - ALL FIXED! (VERSION 1.1 SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO!)
Hey bro.. I've a request.. would you do something about the dragonsteel bow in immersive weapons mod... I mean.. it's great looking but damage is lower than that of ordinary dragonbone bow.. and its texture is not so good... plz.. if you can kindly look into it and do something.. atleast ..change its texture to frankly HD dragonbone one.. and increase its damage.. plz bro
That is getting into territory unrelated to this particular mod mouso... I may find time to mess with that at some point, but I can't keep tweaking each part of your game and adding optional files on "Oiled Arrows" for ya, it will become messy and confusing (not to mention that i have to install your mods into my game temporarily to create the changes plugin, and then remove the mod, at the risk of forgetting to remove textures or something and dirtying up my own game... Here's what i recommend... look up TES5Edit tutorial vids by fadingsignal on youtube. He's the guy that taught me the very basics that allowed me to make my first initial tweaks to my game. Most of the stuff you are asking for is very easy to do yourself if you take your time and, again, watch those tutorials (repeatedly!). The guy (fadingsignal) is a GREAT teacher! If you get stuck or confused, write me and i will try to help you! (if i had more spare time I'd do it for ya, but i have 4 children, work full time, and... I'd actually like to play MY game once in a while too :-) ) Anyways, good luck, and let me know how it goes or if you need help. ~tcbflash
Okay mouso, you should be all set- download the optional file... throw that esp in your data folder... make sure the patch loads AFTER everything else. Hope you enjoy... :-)
