Big thanks for supporting the project guys I'm very grateful for the numerous showcases and adding your astonishing imaces to the modpage.
A very special thanks go to ShmooZ (for helping me with compressing textures), zzjay and ChrisRavenFragrance (for solving the normal maps mysteries), misslexi and Corfus (for awesome screen tests).
Answering some of the questions: - yes, there will be a cbbe version (frank told me that the UNP ver works with CBBE as well so you can also give it a try ) - I'd rather not had this one converted to bodyslide unless someone convinces me with an example that this actually makes sense with historical clothing. - I'm planning to add some details and create at least two retex versions - since there are at least three very similar dresses in the movie.
downloaded this when it first came out and there was only one version, the white skirt of which always looked wrinkled. so I'm really loving the new colors and the different patterns on the skirts! I want to wear this dress to the Thalmor Embassy party instead of the ugly vanilla brown quilted outfit!
I'm becoming a fan of your work since I saw a couple of yours a few days ago. But I need to ask, will there be weight sliders for the dresses eventually? A friend of mine supplied his personal mod that adds this dress to a couple of wealthy NPCs in-game and I love it. Problem is because there are no weight sliders, all the NPCs are having hand seams which are very noticeable when their weight is above 20, unless they wear gloves.
I did try to fix it myself using the CBBE Vanilla body as reference in Bodyslide but even the outfit is way shorter than the average body, which makes the process almost impossible for a newbie modder like me :(
I love all of your dresses, they are so beautiful, and absolutely perfect for my noble bard when she's performing for the courts. Thank you for your amazing work - it's rare to see completely new outfits created with such care and attention among all the ports and retextures!
I must say, this mod is one of my faovrite mod on nexus, love these 18th century style dresses.you are such a talented modder ,Koza.thanks for all your works.
Thank you dear S. I'm so glad you like it. I usually was a 17th century geek but it changes gradually I guess Thank you for adding some images of your wonderful characters to the modpage gallery
Thnak so very much for these gorgeous retextures, I love the different styles of them and all the details! You did such fantastic work, thank you so much for sharing it!
Great work, such a love for details gives me an eyeorgasm. The only cavil I have is about historical value though. The costumes were made by Sandy Powell and if you are interested in full history of their creation you can read it here(I hope it isn't false journos blah-bla): https://ew.com/movies/the-favourite-costumes-sandy-powell-interview/ Mostly there was used laser-cut vinyl(because of the low budget), but Sandy tried to work with what she had at hand. So you can get the vibe about the "accuracy" of the work. Anyway good job both of you. I hope to see another work form ya.
Thanks for pointing out this. And yes, that's true . These weren't made using the proper technology, which is kind of sad, but still the effect is quite impressive I think
Brother i love your mod but just want to ask why all your clothes mod will freeze my pc to equip? The mod file seems not too big but take almost 10-20second to equip it in game (sweating)...
Hey, don't know exactly what could happen. This mod is quite optimised I'd say. The textures are bc1 and bc3 and the model isn't that complex. The older ones are heavy as hell and for example the 1660 Gown always freezes for a moment while equipping.
I'd start with checking if shrinking the textures more would help. You need a dds plugin for Photoshop or Gimp Really don't know what else you could try.
