Imagine being a unironic Communist larper in 2020.
You hate to see it! Especially when you realize if the communists of today met the real ones of old you guys would be either sent to the gulag or rounded up by the cheka and killed on charges of subversion, wrecking, and serving the will of the international bourgeois.
Cringe to read a book? Oh well... I mean you were unable to found out anything about the actual book before you wrote your comment, tell me about cringe.
To anyone who finds this abysmal mod please consider blocking this mod author so that you are not plagued with his awful communist propaganda uploads popping up in your new mods page.
You should make a patch for the Campfire mod where it lets you throw in these books along with the usual firewood. Skyrim is a cold land ya know, every bit of warmth and food is necessary. Would keep the price of wood low, good for business too! Alternatively there should be a mod that allows books to be used as toilet paper!
Nords, let alone most of Skyrim (hell probably even all of Tamriel) don't have a concept of anarchism or governments that deviate from kings/queens, emperors/empresses. These people don't even have toilets let alone what a writer is (Hadring).
In a world of elves, orcs, magic, hedonistic gods and the ability to turn silver into gold, the last thing on their minds would be.....Anarchistic Communism.
No one ever had a concept of anarchism until it was introduced, duh.

You're not wrong - although there were some utopian thinkers and books applicable for some of the societies described in TES and feudalism is often considered a precondition for capitalism, writings of Marx, Engels and Kropotkin are mostly about different modes of production. On the other hand, all of the mentioned thinkers studied the history and mechanics of the class struggle so I think the general idea of the Bread Book would work fine in Skyrim.
That said, mainly I just consider it fun to have some of the essential theory books available for one's custom Skyrim library. Many people welcomed the initial idea so I went on with the Manifesto, then someone asked for the Bread Book. In the future, I will add many other texts e. g. Capitalist Realism, the Xenofeminist Manifesto, What Is To Be Done?, the Reconquest of Ireland. Some of those books are quite recent and say little about society before late capitalism so those are purely for lulz and have little potential to be implemented in the world via quests etc.
Yeah, that's true regarding the for the lulz part. I doubt anybody would read the book in its entirety what with Skyrim's horrible book formatting. Good for short stories like The Cake and the Diamond, not so much for multi-volume installments/long read books
If someone would create the whole book via BookCreator it would be readable as it uses normally formatted text and then saves every page as an image file. Shame it is too slow to add books this way.
I'm also thinking about adding audio for those books I've uploaded. People could listen to them while playing then!
