Praying to god this mod works because i am tempted to destroy my pc with a baseball bat when every single time i fast travel a dragon appears. Nice job Bethesda  make a legendary creature more common than skeevers. dumb.

Warning to potential downloaders. The mod works but has unintended side effects. Lots of npcs who should be hostile to me automatically now dont attack until i do. Everything from master vampires to bandits to necromancers. Its happened a bunch and this is the only mod thats changed in my game. Overall still probably worth using because the dragons are so annoying. Or just never do the main quest.

Just passing by to say dragons aren't entirely passive anymore in my current savegame using the respective version of this mod (not sure if they're passive at all as the dragons I encountered thus far always attacked NPCs first and then me, if they spottet me).

Ok, I just went to a dragon mount and the dragon hasn't attacked me - however I already deinstalled the mod.

You should carry on with the version that engages after main quest. Also is this compatible with DCO?

Dude this was last updated on 2012. The mod is abandoned.

can this mod be configured with the MCM because i have the Touring Carriage mod and came across a problem where if the carriage gets attacked by a dragon it gets glitchy? being able to turn this on and off would be very convenient (it would be more convenient if i could do this with all enemies since i can't defend myself while riding the carriage).

Works normally for me, and I am very pleased with this mod. There is, however, one issue: if you start a game with the Completely Passive optional mod, Alduin will not attack the Imperials and you can spend ages looking at the headsman just waiting to chop your head off, but nothing else happens.

EDIT: Nevermind, found the issue: it was me setting the timescale to realtime and it would likely have taken 20mins of waiting or so.
Passive Dragons is not to blame

I have to say thanks again for making this mod. I may have mentioned this in the mod request forums, but would you consider the idea of having a mod that allows dragons to surrender upon zero health, and give you the chance to spare their life? Otherwise they're acting like real idiots by fighting you to the death all the time.

Why not make it a random chance for them to be hostile or neutral that way everything makes sense and is balanced?

I second this idea and would really love to see this. I'd like to see dragons as individuals, just like humans, so you may run into dragons who are aggressive or passive, ones who hate humans, ones who do not etc.

I'm sad to say this just doesn't bloody work. Nor does the 'No Random Dragons' mod. I don't know whether a patch has broken both, but I barely have any mods installed whatsoever (literally, I only have the no blood spatter mod besides this) so it can't be a conflict of some kind.

    Shame.

Did anyone who posted to this mod before us actually test it out? Because it completely doesn't work for me either.

Hugely underrated mod, deserves far more attention.

Now I can look at the dragons and appreciate them close up without fear of being ravaged by flames, frost or gaping jaws.

Running this alongside the Warzones mod, a dragon can really help you out if you're in a tight spot.

This mod is brilliant and Lore friendly, as after the defeat of Alduin the dragons should be leaderless, disbanded and free to pursue their own lives without fear of reprisal from their dark master, whose motives they were already beginning to question, without yet challenging his leadership directly.

They should also be neutral or even friendly towards the Dragonborn as he essentially freed them from Alduins tyranny; at the very least they should respect his power as he proved decisively that his Thu'um was the most powerful of them all, even greater than that of Alduin.

Awesome mod, and I don't care about the dragons attacking Imperials and Stormcloaks if they are foolish enough to take pot shots at one. It showcases the destructive power of a Dovah against mortals, which if you have Resilient Dragons enabled is terrifying to behold.

Great mod, ope to see more good things in the future.
