Alrighty, im having a problem here. I have some weapons mods installed, this one too.
There are some weapons from each mod (including this one) that if i hover over the name of it, the weapon image doesnt show. I choose to make that weapon and then equip it. Theres nothing in my hands. If I drop the weapon, nothing falls on the ground. There are some really nice weapons i wanted to craft but each mod just has a few that you can make but not use.
Have you tried opening the mesh in nifscope and see if it shows? I am guessing this is a pc graphics issue or something went wrong with the game"s folder paths..
I have the exact same problem. Mod placed after all other sword texture mods, But with no esp in the mod I can't get any overwrite info from tes5edit. Writing that, and thinking back, I have some vague memory of some other mod spesifically instructing me to go into JaySuS mod folder and delete the esp there since the mod in question would patch it. With 456 mods active it's near impossible for me to say with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure it could be Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade given it is the one listing the weapons now. It links the correct weapon texture too, but the path it's trying to link does not exist, since the "jaysmods" folder does not exist within the CCOR mod folder, thus invisible weapons. (I'm using Mod Organizer 2)
Edit: Ah, make sure you actually install the V13D update
I followed the following steps and was able to find many missing meshes and textures: 1. Reinstalled JaySuS Swords 13C (just did a straight overwrite, in Mod Organizer 2 (MO2)) 2. Opened the JaySuS mod location on my PC (right clicked in MO2, then selected Open In Explorer) 3. Located JSwords.bsa in the mod location, and confirmed that neither the "meshes" nor "textures" folder existed yet 4. Downloaded and executed the BSA Unpacker found here on Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4804 5. Selected Open in the BSA Unpacker and navigated to the JSwords.bsa file 6. Selected Extract All in the BSA Unpacker and navigated to the JaySuS Swords mod directory 7. Confirmed that both "meshes" and "textures" folders/subfolders had been unpacked to the mod location, and that they contained .nif and .dds files respectively 8. Closed the BSA Unpacker (and endorsed) 9. Navigated back to MO2 and installed the 13D patch over the top of the JaySuS Swords mod (merged)
There a way to turn off the loading screens from this mod? Its causing my returns to the main menu to break a little and sometimes threatening to override my ability to either load a different save or make a new game.
Thank you for your comment, I was about to try this mod but it is really annoying when they add loading screens and other changes that are not clarified in the description, if it says download weapons you only expect to download weapons, Once I found a file that modified the ENB, it ruined my entire view, when I had already uninstalled everything I found that it was in an armor mod thank you you have saved me a lot of trouble
If you use Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade, it's integration of Jaysus Swords doesn't have the loading screens. (Be aware you still need the textures and meshes from this mod. See the instructions on CCO mod page.)
Awesome Mod, loving it. But there is one thing i do not understand, some swords are not craftable for me. Even with smithing maxed out and every perk, i am still not able to create draonbrand or gugnir. But the majority of the including swords is craftable... anyone having the same issue?
I perhaps found a sword in the 3rd picture (the left sword of the four new swords in V13) looks a bit similar to : This Of course, it had almost no possibility that this V13 sword was from this later mod. Wikipedia
Not sure if the mesh was made originally in 3d mesh builders by the author. (Yes, the author didn't claim all meshes were made by himself.) It seemed that I have seen this mesh in many places (because it was a famous historical sword. Some Japanese games ever made a mesh for it). The mod is excellent at least by the aspect of collections, I love many swords in this, but I saw the sword and a question appeared.
good find, yes, thats the famous gou ji ahn sword... theres a spearhead in real life that looks just like it btw, and the owners of both weapons were like archenemies.
the other mod uses a different model than me though i believe, has a scabbard and the gems look different.
Welp, it looks like there's somebody else attempting to make money off of JaySuS on Artstation, trying to sell his swords with 2 different licenses, one for Studios/Commercial Work and Standard Use.
I'm absolutely begging you, please make a version of Dovah Luv where just the hilt is recoloured and the glow in the gems is gone, Dovah Luv is almost exactly what I want for a Blackfyre character.
You need the distribution plugin for that. Or just head over to SSE where this is incorporated into the main mod along with various fixes and improvements.
Are there console commands for the unique swords? Dovah Luv is nowhere to be found at the Sovngarde portal. There is no sword or corpse, and is unavailable to craft.
