Hi again! I hope its not too much of a hassle but can i request that you increase the swords' market value? Its kinda jarring how the greatsword is only worth 90 coins when it looks so amazing xD Like, above 2500 would be great.
Hi! Great suggestion! 2500 is a bit steep in my opinion, but I did increase the value of each variant to 500. You can download this fix in the Temper Patch V1.2, to spare you from downloading the big file again.
Oooh i love the look of this one, definitely getting it for my next playthrough and leaving an endorsement as well. Can you tell me if this sword is 1k, 2k, 4k etc?
Thank you! The textures are 4k, for the most part. I only reduced the size of the normal and metal map to conserve space and compressed them to ensure no quality loss.
Ohh i see. And whats the impact on performance? Thing is, i dont have a great pc and there's also other mods installed so i wanna make sure that this will work for me
Nowadays, texture quality shouldn't have too big of an impact on performance, but I don't have your rig so I can't make any assumptions. If you find that the weapon does reduce your framerate or hurt performance, I can make a 2K version for you :) Just let me know!
Yeah, I am aware. Very bizarre. I haven't been able to figure out the reason for it, unfortunately. It's a very minor issue, so I'm not worried about it.
Do you by any chance have any plans to make this findable in game like your Natures Edge mod?
With Natures Edge we had to fight that Spriggan boss to get it so given this is more human Knight looking sword maybe put it in the hands of a powerful warrior? Some kind of Paladin in heavy armour style boss springs to mind. Just curious. Quest or no quest I still plan to keep this in my load order as I just love adding new weapons to put on display in my Armoury.
I'm glad you liked the quest mechanic of Nature's Edge, however I don't plan on adding a quest component for Vandarian Sword. That being said, I do have another weapon mod that I'm currently developing called: Giant Slayer's Greatsword, which does have a quest system like Nature's Edge! :) Stay tuned!
